I highly recommend this hotel. It is very clean and updated. Every member of the staff was friendly and polite. When I checked in, I asked for the bereavement rate because I was in town for a funeral. The lady at the front desk was very nice and gave me an even lower rate. The funeral wasn’t going to be until 1:00pm the next day so I requested a late checkout since I had no where to hang out in the meantime. She quickly agreed to that. There were a few stains on the carpet in my room but everything else was very clean and adequately stocked. The room had a refrigerator and a microwave. The beds were very comfortable with four pillows on each bed. The only thing that was a little bothersome was the heater. It heated just fine, but every time it cycled off, the fan made a squeaky noise which made it a little hard to fall asleep. The breakfast was good and the attendant was nice and gave ample portions of whatever foods I asked for. I wasn’t allowed to serve myself because of covid precautions. She was behind a plexiglass divider and put the food in a styrofoam container. I did not go to the indoor pool, but I could see it and it looked clean. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Oh my, where do I begin! First, the hot tub turned out to be out of service -- and by the brackish color of the remaining water-- had been for some time. Next, upon arrival in my room, I could clearly hear the neighboring room's TV almost to the point of understanding the words. When this continued past 10 PM, I tried without success to talk to him to lower the volume. The front desk banged on his door several with the same result. So, at 11 PM, I had to forcefully effect a room change. The new room had flickering lights and shaky plug connections which made me wonder what our fire risk might be. Finally, breakfast was a disaster. One partially rotten banana, no yogurt, no powdered eggs, 2 sausage patties (which I took), and a tray of hardboiled eggs turning colors I wouldn't risk if I was starving. Avoid this place!
