We stayed for 3 separate nights over the last week. Edgcumbe is in a great location near the Hoe with plenty of local food options, but really quiet. Comfortable room, and Carla was really helpful with looking after our bag between stays. Just what we needed.

Great location on the Hoe, ideally situated for sea front, shopping centre, theatre and the Barbican 10/15 min walk away. Quiet, well kept room - just the job. Open air lido 5 mins away, decent sea front restaurants, cafes and boat trips readily available.

Easy to book with the Edgcumbe, we’ve stayed a few times and have never been disappointed Wonderful rooms, comfy beds and lovely pillows. Coupled with a great location, the Hoe on doorstep and Barbican a nice 10 min stroll, the Edgcumbe is a great place to stay Carla is fab host and the communication is fantastic.

Needed somewhere to stay the night between interviews, perfect location near the sea front and lovely clean rooms with everything you need! Lovely book with information in, and good communication on how to get in when you arrive! 10/10 nothing bad to say ☺️ highly recommend if you need somewhere to stay in Plymouth

The room was lovely and comfortable with everything I needed. Instructions for the accommodation were very clear and easy and I would highly recommend and would definitely return if I was in the area. Great location for the Plymouth Hoe, easy parking and everything went very smoothly

The room was clean and well maintained. A great location! It was a nice easy walk up to the Hoe to see the superb view. Room was quiet with no disturbances, and very comfortable. Check in was very easy as was checking out. Would absolutely return.

The location is brilliant, the room was really comfy with plenty of towels and little extras available, tea and coffee facilities clean and plenty of little extras in the hallway, Carla is a wonderful host and we had a lovely welcome from Tess too, highly recommend this guest house xx

I had Room 3 which was perfect, slept great, TV good size for watching, all the tv, coffee and milks supplied when needed, more left on a table down stairs, Guest House is literally one minute from the Hoe and the cafe / ice cream sellers, min train for the kids, Lido, it's an unreal place to stay, I've stayed now 5 or 6 times, and Carla is the best host, I love the place, it's my second home.

Needed a quick overnight stay visiting uni with my daughter. This place was very very good and great value. Excellent comms from the owner and clear check in instructions. Assistance with parking outside too. The twin room we had was nicely decorated and the room was warm. Good ensuite bathroom. The location is nice just off the sea front and despite being on the road was very quiet at night. Would certainly look to stay again if in the area.
