Comfortable, clean room. Non-functional WiFi. In this day and age you shouldn't have to struggle to get wifi in a hotel. In this hotel you get kicked off the Wi-Fi every 15 minutes if not less. I travel with a smart speaker just to know the time and listen to the news but this was not possible in this hotel. I couldn't get my smart speaker to connect at all. Perhaps it's an England thing, it's the first time I've tried to connect the speaker in Great Britain.

Great hotel . Great location and excellent facilities . Only negative was being unable to do the early check in due to staff shortages.

If you want to sleep at night and be able to shower in the morning- DO NOT STAY HERE!!! The mattress was old and finished, There was inadequate ventilation in the room- the room was 25°C at night preventing sleep. The shower room was very small with inadequate shelving for toiletries or towels, it is not ventilated whatsoever :so after taking a shower you cannot dry yourself due to the humidity. The bedroom was tiny with no room for cases. I will never use this aweful hotel again, and in general Premier Inn is going down in quality

The rooms are incredibly hot. Our rooms temp was 27c at night. Warmer than outside. We were not aware that there was no A/C upon booking. We were given a fan which was super noisy and just moved warm air around. The rooms are musty but fairly clean.

Friendly, welcoming staff, at hand when needed. Quiet and comfortable. Would recommend this hotel. Carpark and handy pub with food attached to carpark

Check in was quick and easy, the lady on the front desk was very friendly, room as with all premier inns was basic and very clean. Location is great for the Barbican area if you are visiting. The bed was very comfortable and the room really offered value for money.

People are good and the hotel is nice. But the cost saving elements are not good. Instead of cooking breakfast based on order they now do buffet breakfast. So if you order poached eggs you have to wait 15 mins.

Stayed here for one night having just come off the ferry from France to get a good sleep before driving to Scotland the next day. The room smelled awful - like stale tobacco. And worse of all it was 27 degrees with no air con! Hardly slept a wink between the smell and the heat. Absolutely awful. Completely dated too compared to the premier inns standard now come to expect from advertising. The lady was very nice at check in and gave us free parking for arriving so late in the day. A fan was provided but no use. And it wasn’t hot outside. Considered getting up and sleeping in the car. Time to update the rooms! Would never stay here again otherwise - can’t get the horrible smell out of my nose. Yuck.

The windows need opening in corridors etc as the place is a bit stinky and smells stale, carpets are all a bit worse for wear and a bit sticky in the corridors
