Olema House at Point Reyes

Thank you for a wonderful stay. It is our third time. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The grounds are pristine and well taking care of. The staff is very helpful, professional, and friendly.The restaurant Due West and Hotel Cafe are convenient but the food is so so and pricey.

Very clean and gorgeous inside and out. It’s a sleepy place and they don’t want noise outside past 10:00. We enjoyed our stay and the staff is soooo nice!!

This place makes for the perfect Marin getaway. Great restaurant, great eats at Due West, and the room and property are spectacular. The staff is friendly and helpful. We were there for one night and came home completely relaxed and refreshed. Lastly, Olema is the gateway to Marin's most amazing scenery and hikes. Enjoy!

Loved this hotel! Great atmosphere, wonderful rooms and the grounds are beautiful. It’s so quiet right on a creek and close to the coast and gorgeous trails. Highly recommend!

I especially loved the new-feeling jacuzzi -- it's the best in-room one that I've experienced so far. I also liked how the bathroom area was raised above the room. It would have been nice to have a closet, clothing rack, or more hooks for hanging things. Otherwise the room and grounds were lovely.

The hotel and the room exceeded our expectations. Although pricey for the area, the top floor room (16) with a balcony was lovely, the king bed very comfortable and the room quiet (I am noise sensitive). The bottle of wine and unusual trail mix was a nice touch. The bathroom is very small, but nicely appointed. The grounds are lovely. The hotel managers were professional and helpful. My one big disappointment was the meal at the adjoining restaurant - Due West. I chose to ignore many poor reviews as the manager said the food was quite good. It is not! It was our anniversary and truthfully it was one of the worst meals we’ve ever had… overcooked dry chicken, over salted brussel sprouts swimming in a broth, dry blackened fish sandwich with nothing like cole slaw on, and an over baked dry apple tart (the ice cream was great). I really hope that the hotel/restaurant hires a new chef/director as they have a wonderful opportunity for guests to enjoy the very nice hotel and walk a few steps to a beautiful restaurant with lovely decor and outdoor dining area in addition to good food.

The Olema House and its surrounding attractions are wonderful for couples who want to get away. It is a quiet and peaceful experience

Great rooms, wonderful location, exceptional staff, and stellar on site restaurant. Couldn't ask for more.
