Very clean and nice hotel. The rooms are very spacious and have a balcony. The hotel owner is very friendly and helps you with everything you need. Plus, they have a cafe where you can have breakfast and they make excellent coffee. Totally recommended.

So much I could say about Basanta Inn so I'll stick to the key points. The hotel is clean and welcoming with Jivan and Sabita the nicest, most helpful hosts you could find. In this day and age when travelers really want to make sure that health is a big priority, Basanta gives you complete comfort and cleanliness in an environment which is inexpensive when one considers what one is getting when staying there. A really nice cafe with great coffee and food is an added bonus plus the location is an area of Pokhara where the streets are clean and the locals take pride. I recommend Basanta Inn as highly as I can!

A perfect place to stay in Pokhara. Clean, bright, welcoming and brilliantly managed by an un intrusive and positive staff. I’ve been going to Pokhara for 40 years and this is my favourite hotel. You can get more luxurious places to stay but this is like a home from home.
