Club Wyndham Santa Barbara

Having seen the drab photos of the resort we weren't expecting much so we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The room was of a good size and had curtains that blocked out virtually all the light. There's a spacious balcony and good sized kitchen. We were aware of the ability to use the sister hotel's facilities but we didn't use them. There is a walkway to the beach the other side of the road and it only takes a couple of minutes to get the beach. There were some activities during the week and often accompanied by great frozen drinks. The concierge desk supplied some vouchers for dining and we were glad of their suggestions. Easy access to i95 helped being able to get around. Plenty of parking spaces in the multistory carpark.

Lovely apartment, yards from the beach. Great for travelling around the south of Florida. Outlook from the veranda was super.

Booked online had no idea this is a timeshare property. Wouldn’t let us have our room keys until agreed to attend a 90 minute “review” ie timeshare hard sell sales presentation with promise of free stuff which we didn’t even want. We weren’t prepared for this at all, left an unpleasant feeling. Room large, dated. A/c dripping in bedroom and air felt damp and unhealthy. (Gave an extra star as pool area is pleasant enough) Left early. Avoid.

The concierge staff was excellent. They were always smiling, attentive and working towards making our stay enjoyable, and comfortable. Shout out to De Andrea, Donna, Weedline, Geradson, Amand, and Wayne -Thank you. The rooms were clean, but not cleaned daily. The kitchen

Great service from the staff, great view, the room was fine. Used the washer and dryer, ruined several articles of clothing due to oil and grime spots from the dryer.

We just returned from a one week stay at the Club. My parents own a fixed week two bedroom corner room overlooking the ocean and intracoastal and let us use it for the week. We loved waking up and watching the sunrise on the balcony and watching life on A1A. Every single one of the interactions with the staff was pleasant. I didn't catch a name, but a lady at the front desk gave my son a travel journal at the beginning of our stay and he was so proud of his work in it throughout our stay. I can't say enough about all the staff. They are wonderful! The pool is just the right size and kept at a nice temperature. I did the water aerobics class and that was fun and Kim did a great job leading it. We took advantage of the BBQ area for a couple of dinners. The workout room had all of the amenities that I needed. The beach is just across the street and easy access from the resort. We also took advantage of the sister resort across the street. We played Bingo and used their pool. There is a little park just behind the resort where you can try fishing and watch the sunset over the intercoastal waterway. We did Miami Beach, Las Olas Blvd (Water Taxi) and the Everglades while staying there. All within an hour or so drive.

This resort is well maintained and has a friendly staff. While across from the Beach you have great views of the Ocean and the intercostal. You can use the amenities at the Wyndom right on the beach which is across the street.

Excellent location, staff were very helpful and accommodation in ALL of our request. Would for sure return to this location. Would highly recommend this for family trips. Room was ready when we arrived and all our requests were addressed very promptly.
