Devo dire che soggiornare nella Certosa è un po’ come fare un passo indietro nel tempo ed entrare nella storia. Eravamo in 4 quindi abbiamo soggiornato negli appartamenti ( celle degli ex monaci). In alcuni tratti l’appartamento è molto suggestivo, scalette, portici e, soffitti alti il legno. In altri un pò dozzinale come mobili fuori contesto, cucina semi moderna che non si inseriscono nella logica dell’appartamento. Un ottima colazione ed una attenzione importante al cliente ed alle sue esigenze. Tutto sommato siamo stati bene

This property was incredible. I believe it is a converted monastery. This is perfect if you would like a bed and breakfast with charm, out in the Tuscan countryside. It was exactly what we had hoped for and more. It is located on a hill overlooking Siena, about a 15 min drive from the city. The hotel is surrounded by wine vineyards and olive tree groves on all sides including on the way up the property. The property itself makes its own wine, olive oil and honey. The rooms were charming and felt like they were a few hundred years old. You trade luxury for authenticity at this hotel, such for us was well with it. We stayed in a 3 bedroom. It does only have one bathroom to share. It had a kitchen with the essentials, including a cooktop, dishes, and a refrigerator. We did cook simple food in the kitchen with pots and pans. There were old steep stairs inside the apartment to reach the 2nd level where we had 2 of the 3 bedrooms. The view from the balcony was beautiful. They have a restaurant on site which was great. We are there one night. Their olive oil was the best I’ve even tried. The included breakfast was incredible. It has so much variety including pastries of every kind, pancakes, eggs, bacon, yogurt, fresh fruit, juices, local meats and cheese, breads, cold cereal and milk, etc. It has something for everyone. It’s was the best breakfast we had during our 2 week European trip. The property itself has an Italian garden, beautiful spacious grounds, and chapel with frescoes

This is the most amazing place! The staff was so friendly and helpful. The meals were some of the best we've ever had. The breakfast buffet also the nicest ever. Now imagine this 13th monastary set in the most picture postcard place. The gardens and chapel are incredible! If you are in the siena area you must stay here!

We stayed here during our Insight Vacations 'Country Roads of Italy' tour. Beautiful gardens, great buffet breakfasts and a lovely dinner under the colonnades. We had the added bonus of the Cantata Toscana 2024 being held locally. Choristers were practicing in the courtyard whilst we dined!

Great stay and location. Restaurant was amazing as well! Local wine tour next door for only 5 euros and it was amazing! Recommend staying here. Just note the rooms don’t have a safe or any outlets in the washrooms. 10/10 stay for location, food and experience

Nous avons adoré héberger dans ce site chargé d'histoire. Les *cella* sont magnifiques et elles donnent envie d'y rester plus longuement. Le personnel est absolument charmant, efficace et chaleureux .
