Das Ambiente und die Klasse die das Gran Hotel Kronenhof verbreitet-sind aussergewöhnlich und bleibt uns in grandioser Erinnerung. Das Personal - das SPA - die BAR - der Concierge - die Leitung. Ein GRAND HOTEL, das dem Anspruch gerecht wird. Wir kommen wieder.

We had a fantastic stay at Grand Hotel Kronenhof! The hotel has an amazing history and great old world glamour. The rooms are spacious and the amenities and spa were top notch.
By far the biggest plus at the hotel were the staff. The were all exceptional and really warm. They offered great recommendations and Daniel the concierge was a standout.

Der Kronenhof ist eine absolute TOP Adresse! Man wird überaus nett und herzlich empfangen, alles ist sehr sauber gehalten, das Essen und die Bedienung im Grand Restaurant sind sehr fein und herzlich. Der Wellnessbereich lässt keine Wünsche offen, sehr schöne Sauna, ein Dampfbad, eine Grotte zum im Wasser "floaten", grosser Pool mit diversen Whirlpool's, Kneipgang, etc. (einzig finde ich dass die Ruheräume bei der Sauna etwas hell und unpersönlich gestaltet sind) Unser grosses Zimmer im NeuBau lässt ebenfalls keine Wüsche offen, alles perfekt!!!

Wunderschönes Hotel der Extraklasse
Einfach wunderbar - vom Service über das Ambiente, das Essen, der Wellnessbereich- einziges Manko ist der fehlende Aussenpool - ansonsten lässt das Hotel keine Wünsche übrig. Auch kinderfreundlich was in dieser Kategorie selten der Fall ist. Natürlich hat alles seinen Preis - aber den zahlt man am Ende gerne . Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Zimmerservice nicht auf 5 Sterne Niveau.
Im Badezimmer einige "fremde" Haare, Versprechungen vom Hotel (alle drei Tage frische Früchte auf dem Zimmer), wurde nicht eingehalten, frische Trinkwasser Flasche wurde zweimal "vergessen". Zimmerservice damit nicht auf 5 Sterne Niveau.
Frühstücksbuffet wird nur sehr lagsam "nachgefüllt", damit zum Teil sehr lange Wartezeiten bis das Gewünschte wieder verfügbar.

Do not miss this hotel when in the upper Engadin
The Kronenhof was the kind of impressionable experience that will "force" me to stay in Pontresina everytime I visit the Upper Engadin. The hotel, staff, food, you name it, is top notch. Breakfast was amazing and both restaurant provided high end dining to be remembered. I did not visit the Spa, but from the outside it looks to be very well done. The view down the Roseg valley is wonderful and staying just a few miles away from the crowds at St. Moritz is also a bonus.

The Grand Hotel Kronenhof, located in the Engadine valley in the Swiss Alps, is not just a Five Star Hotel, it’s officially a Five Star, Superior hotel. Why is that? For one thing, it’s the Swiss hospitality and the professionalism of the staff. The Reception staff and the Concierge make one very much at home as soon as a guest enters. In fact, Daniel Stauch, the Head Concierge/Guest Relations, is always very responsive to our questions and requests even before we arrive at the hotel. The superior service flows through reception, the concierge, the dining room, the bar, the spa and housekeeping. Every wish and need is promptly fulfilled with a pleasant smile. We have vacationed at the Kronenhof four times. Each time we arrive, we receive a royal welcome full of smiling faces. While a receptionist efficiently checks us in, our bags are whisked off to our room. The Kronenhof team is committed to making every guest’s stay a joyful, memorable event. My husband and I consider the Grand Hotel Kronenhof our home away from home. Among other awards, the World Luxury Spa Awards granted the Grand Hotel Kronenhof, the 2016 Global Spa of the Year award. The spa truly deserved that award. We enjoyed the water jets for every part of the body and the walk-through warm-to-cold stretch of pools, all of which are not only relaxing but also therapeutic for aching muscles and even burning nerves. The walk-through warm-to-cold stretch of pools cured the injured, burning nerves in my husband’s feet. It is a pleasure to close each day feasting in the Grand Dining Room, accompanied by the soothing sounds of a talented pianist, but be prepared to go on a virtual reality diet upon returning home! We could write a book about the Grand Hotel Kronenhof, but we will stop here. We’ll be back in 2025! The Houses
