Lovely hotel, recently refurbished. Room was not enormous but had everything we needed (including dri-robes!) and view over the harbour with window seat. Good shower, excellent tea and coffee facilities in room and comfy bed. Breakfast was very good and service was excellent and with a smile. We also had dinner twice, with good choices on the menu.

No1 were the staff, so helpful and friendly, which I think made our stay special. The room was very comfortable, very clean and fresh. Beers great and good food in the restaurant. We only stopped for the one night, but would definitely stay longer next time.

We spent 3 nights at the Harbour Hotel in Porthleven. So many superlatives- the location was amazing a glimpse back in history and a great feel of community. Seeing families fishing for crabs, playing in the harbour and the beach gave our experience a lovely relaxing atmosphere. The hotel ( recently refurbished) was excellent - attention to detail in the room and decor, quality of the bedding, furniture and provisions. The food was of a very high standard and the service from staff was friendly and welcoming. Regardless of the 600 mile distance from home we will definitely return. Thank you.

Great location- paid extra for a harbour view room which was lovely. Service and food in the pub was average. Breakfast- waited over half an hour from ordering to being served and it was just ok. Stayed in B& Bs for half the price with excellent breakfast so for £200+ a night we were very disappointed.

Overall, we had a lovely stay at The Harbour Inn for 2 nights. The evening meal and breakfast were both really good. The decor and overall styling and comfort of the room was great. However, our room felt like an add on, the “naughty room” if you like, which was out of a fire exit, across the roof, and into a room. Our bathroom looked out onto the outdoor drinking/dining area, yet the windows were not frosted/private. The bathroom also had a smell of bad drainage. I also think that in the summer, low tog duvets should be provided. Although I appreciate that most hotels could adopt this method, not just The Harbour Inn. Nether the less, I would return. I’d just ask for a different room!

This was our second stay and once again could not fault had a garbour view bay window room very comfy, clean with excellent shower All staff most helpful servi g good freshly cooked food. This together with ideal location is why we have booked our next stay
