Sofitel Golfe d'Ajaccio Thalassa Sea & Spa

I would like to share my experience of staying at the hotel. I really liked the hotel's grounds, attentive staff and comfortable rooms. But I have to give a lower rating, as I did not receive attention to my request about the management of the hotel. We arrived at the hotel on November 11, we could not be checked into the hotel because there was no light and we were offered accommodation at the Hotel Campo Dell'Oro 4*. The next day we moved to the Sofitel Hotel and enjoyed our vacation. However, I did not receive a response to my request for a recalculation of the cost of arrival and a refund. I have repeatedly sent an appeal to the office. I understand the technical issues that may arise at the hotel, but I paid the amount for staying at a 5* hotel, not 4*

Disappointing rooms and poor food... Spent 1 night in Sofitel Ajaccio. We are big fans of the Sofitel brand and this was a big let down. The location is great, quite private and the views are incredible from rooms and public spaces. The airport is quite close hence there is some noise from the planes. The biggest issue for us was the room. The room and furniture were extremely dated and room felt super cluttered. The bed was great as always. Bathroom was terrible. Pool are is fabulous, as is the garden. Beach is just ok. Had dinner at their gastronomic restaurant and we were very disappointed.
