One night stay at TRU by Hilton, less than 2 miles to the airport to catch an early morning flight. You might expect it to be noisy but it wasn’t and we slept very well on a comfortable King bed! We arrived at 9:30 p.m. and caught the 0400 shuttle, it was a short night with no complaints!

The hotel was quite comfortable, quiet, and the free breakfast was great! The only weird issue was that the GPS took us to a gate for us to pull a ticket to enter the lot. I had not read about this prior to arrival and I didn't think we were in the right place. We drove around to a second entry and realized that we could have entered the first gate. The front desk validated our parking ticket for us to exit easily. The parking fee was added to the cost of the room.

One person at the front desk and 6 people waiting in line to be checked in. Parking lot was being resurfaced the next day, so they had lots and lots of spaces roped off. Went to dinner and had to wait nearly 20 minutes when I returned for someone else to leave so I could find a place to park.

The room was nice and comfortable and the staff friendly, just very small rooms but it was ok for our trip home, close to PDX International AirPort and close to lots of food choices. The parking is paid parking but the hotel will validate your ticket, they have continental breakfast but we left early as our flight was at 5:10am. Beds were comfortable and plenty of places in the room to charge your items, also if you have kids the room we had did not have a tub but our twin 8 year old boys didn’t mind the shower. Rooms have everything except a closet, they do have a small fridge, microwave and hooks and exterior rack to hang clothes. Overall decent place, very quiet and clean.

Disappointing for a Hilton. Very spartan. Room was small. One towel per person in a room with 2 beds. No kleenex provided etc. The shower spray was one setting on a wide spray, not ideal. On the plus side they had a 24 hour shuttle to the airport.

This was my second stay. As before, I felt comfortable, an individual, and safe here. The mood of the hotel is kind of hi-tech though not pretentiously so--the emphasis is still on practical efficiency. The rooms are bright and airy. One of the front desk staff was particularly helpful to me; even printing out pro forma details of my next-day flight and answering questions about the in-room a/c. It's a real social hub, with people in the front area sitting around writing or talking. Shuttle service is excellent and so is breakfast. Definitely will stay here again.
