Great hotel in the heart of Porto, on a fantastic street for dining and shopping. Rua das Flores is one of the few relatively flat, pedestrian streets in Porto. The hotel opens right onto the wide walkway. There are many wonderful bars, restaurants, and shops within a very short walk of the hotel. Major streets for catching an Uber are just a few meters away. The hotel itself is very spacious, clean and with great amenities. The breakfast is wonderful and the staff are super helpful. If you are looking for a place to stay in the heart of Porto, this is the place for you. The hotel is part of the Pestana Hotel group, and has a decent number of rooms. But still feels very much like a boutique hotel.

We stayed here for 3 nights. It was in a ideally walkable location. Be aware you have to pay to park a few streets away and walk with your suitcases over cobblestones to get to the hotel. The rooms are very small and don't offer elevated amenities (small unattractive bar and weight room) for the rate. Pousada Porto was the most expensive hotel of our trip, costing even more per night than our 5 star hotel in Lisbon. For the price and space there are so many nicer hotels in Porto. When we return we will book at the gorgeous Hotel Virtudes or Se Catedral Hotel which are much nicer and less expensive. We don't recommend this hotel since it was plain and simple with small rooms and overpriced.

Fantastische locatie in het centrum van PORTO zodat je overal te voet heen kunt. En een goede deal met parkeer garage SABA zodat je daar met discount kunt parkeren en op loop afstand van de Pousada. Mooie kamers en heerlijk ontbijt in de ochtend.

We had a lovely stay for 4 nights. Top floor room. Quiet and cozy with outward view. We also had breakfast included daily which was excellent with choices for meat lovers and vegetarians. The location of this hotel is perfect for walking and seeing the many sights, shops and strolling the Douro waterfront as well. Staff is very accommodating and ready to assist always. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent location walkable to pretty much everything Room lovely great well decorated and clean. Reception staff Excellent, very helpful from booking taxis ,to giving ideas to what to do or were to go . Also a lovely surprise birthday gift of sparkling wine and a selection of sweet treats left in the room for us . (And were not told it was my birthday, so was done off there own initiative) so was a genuine surprise. Over all a great hotel and a great experience to have stayed there . Will definitely be back .

Ana Bakx was very accommodating to us as with traffic we were late and she waited for us with no issue. Ana is a local lifetime resident and knows the city well and her English is excellent, we would definitely recommend her. Ana tailored the tour to our interests.

Good: reasonable price, central location, good breakfast and dinner, free water daily in the room, clean rooms. Bad: small rooms, can hear the noise, good shower but water doesn’t go away, AC cold at 23 degrees but can’t make it warmer, need to turn it off completely when it’s hot.
