The hotel is clean, comfortable, well looked after and the service is absolutely excellent, the hotel lives up to the good name that Premier Inn has nationally.

Its a great hotel which is quite near the beach. Its fantastic and services are very good so it's worth to stay again

Room stank of smoke was advised we could not be moved to another room, so would have to go elsewhere, then advised we could be moved, was advised Breakfast would now be complimentary but still charged, would like the Breakfast amount x 2 refunded as agreed

The review option was average or very good. I’d say more in the middle, e.g. good. Some issues with room key cards. On check-in we were told by staff that one of the 3 for our twin room & double room might not work. The receptionist struggled to make the lift ‘read’ any of our cards so she accompanied us up & down a couple of times as it didn’t work for her either. As often happens at Premier Inns one of the cards stopped working on day 2 of our 3 night stay. That aside we had a good stay. We had rooms on the 4th floor overlooking the main street and had no noise either internal or external. The car park wasn’t far from the hotel & mid-day Friday to mid-day Monday was just £13.50. The air conditioning worked really well. The room felt hot on arrival but after 20mins set at 19 it suited me & it adjusted really quickly to whatever set temperature afterwards. The location is good for buses - which were free the weekend that we stayed - & very close to the station. Breakfast was good. Nice coffee, fruit salad, pastries & better sausages than I expected. I’d definitely stay here again, and really need to mention Kelly. So friendly & helpful and makes you feel that she genuinely cares about your stay.

Had a room with a connecting door and could hear everything all night. When we first got to the room there was nobody next door, did not think it was a connecting door to another room. When we got back quite later on in the evening there was no noise. It was only as we were in bed we heard them go to their room and could hear their conversation and everything. So if you realise your room has a connecting door DO NOT stay in that room.

Large family room, spare bed suitable for tall teen, comfortable, dark and quiet despite being above railway platform. Friendly helpful staff. Good breakfast with many options. Opposite student digs for anyone visiting a student. Short walk to town centre. Only negative was room card was temperamental and staff were struggling to deal with number of queries raised regarding this.

Location is the only thing this hitel has going for it, we booked it as we normally can rely on a Premier Inn, but not on this trip. First check in was hard, only one machine working, no staff and the second machine not playing ball. When we were supported to check in, we were given instructions for a lift that did not make sense, essentially the scanner was broken so anyone from the roadside could get to your floor/room, and believe me there were quite a lot of strange people around. The room when we entered was dirty, it had not been vacuumed, pictures were hanging off the wall, you could see two toned paint where they had tried patching things up. We thought ok, it's late, let's just get some sleep, I thought the bed felt damp, I did not get a good night's sleep. Sad, as would always pick a Premier inn, but I may choose another chain for a while.

Quick overnight stay on our way to France. Friendly staff, reasonably clean room & very spacious for the 4 of us. Parking a few mins walk away but very reasonably priced. About 15 mins walk to the Quays. Tesco & Costa located on the ground floor.
