Super 8 by Wyndham Portsmouth - Norfolk

The smell was awful. Disgusting, dirty sheets, bugs, ashes on the desk, even the curtains were dirty. Ceiling in the bathroom was coming down. Plus there was a person going door to door consistently throughout the day and night offering services. Its a nasty, decrepit place. Don't waste your money or time.

Flat top stove was nice if it worked. Room was big but floors were disgusting. Room was big but didnt want to share with roaches. Broken glass pipes on floor

I have stayed at this location for about 3 weeks. For the price, it works. I like the amount of tables and countertop space. The fridge is a good size. Comes with a microwave. There is little to no noise when inside the building. Safe neighborhood.

I liked the availability. I didn’t like the customer service from the staff or the fact that our room electrical outlets and refrigerator didn’t work. The room had hair in the sheets and the lock didn’t even work properly on the door.

No phone, cant get trash bags from housekeepers, they charge $2 per night extra for booking online.

It was a great stay

This hotel is dirty and sketchy (and rather expensive). We reserved a non-smoking room, and we were given a smoking one. Everything is filthy. The sink was unusable (overflowed as soon as we ran the water), tub is dirty (we didnt feel safe using it), there is rice and trash behind the dresser, sheets aren't clean (hair on sheets and pillowcases), towels were damp (when we asked for an additional one, we had to return all the ones in the room), ice bucket was dirty (and no bag was provided), the lock on the door has been seriously challenged in the past and does not feel secure, etc. We are on a camping trip traveling, but we decided to get a room because of rain, and we had to roll our camp beds out on top of the bed to sleep cleanly. There were no blankets (only a sheet and thin cover). This room cost over $100 and wasn't clean enough to sleep and bathe.
