Ok location and hotel wasn’t that great. I would book again if I was the area just because of location.

We stayed here one night on our way up the coast. The building seemed old but was clean. The staff was friendly but not helpful when we asked about downtown Portsmouth. Breakfast was muffins, toast, and yogurt. Decent one night stay.

A little noisy (rooms toward the highway). Size of hotel is fine and breakfast is good except that there was no fruit. You can go dowtown by walk in 30 minutes and avoid traffic and parking.

This Howard Johnson motel has been totally rehabilitated and renovated by the Wyndham people. It is in pristine condition, Virtually brand new. Decorated in a retro 1950s HoJo’s theme. The room was clean. The bathroom was spotless. The Hotel had a guest laundry. Overall, this was an excellent value. Would stay here again.
