I've booked a room in this hotel, received all the details regarding the upcoming stay and everything was fine. But in two weeks I've received a message from the hotel Botel Marina in Prague with a link and a request to confirm my payment data. After I did I was charged in total 600$. I've contacted the hotel and they told me that this link was a scam sent from their account, which apparently was hacked. It's been 6 hours since their message with a scam link and my payment, but the hotel didn't send any warning with explanation and advice to not click on the link. I called them and was told that they have been hacked and there's nothing they can do to help. My bank couldn't refund the money, so I wrote a complaint to Booking. They redirected my complaint to the hotel, and they told that this situation is not their fault. After second complaint to Booking and a month of investigations I was finally told that they will refund what was lost due to the hotel incompetency in informational security and lack of responsibility. I strongly don't recommend this hotel and warn you about this scam. Thank you, Booking, for taking responsibility for this incident.
