Hotel Golden City Garni Reviews

This is the second time I’ve stayed at this hotel and each time it has been really great, the welcome is always very nice and the rooms are always tidy and well prepared! The only slight disappointment is the breakfast selection which is quite week and consists of mainly breads and some cold meats but this doesn’t define the rest of the stay The tram stop right outside the door takes you straight to the centre easily which is perfect and is two stops from the main train station! 😊

The hotel is good and there is a tram station infront of it, so it is convenient to travel around the city. The breakfast also good. The only thing I would suggest that hotel should provide slippers. Overall it is a perfect within budget including breakfast.

A very average hotel, but the price is affordable, the transportation is convenient, and the price/performance ratio is good.

The tram station is also very close, making it convenient. There are many small markets nearby and an ATM is also close by. The breakfast had a wide variety of breads, soups, salads, etc. and was very delicious. If I go to Prague again, I would like to use this hotel again.

Nice room, very good

It takes about 15-20 minutes on foot from Prague Central Station. There are several tram lines, so transportation is good. They are friendly and the breakfast is clean and tidy.

The hotel is located in the city, train station in front of the door. Very convenient Nice staff and delicious breakfast ;)

The location is very good, very convenient to the railway station, the hotel breakfast is also very good, the rooms are clean and tidy and orderly, and the front desk is very welcoming. Nearby supermarkets and tram stops are very close. Very suitable for visiting attractions

Great location, beautiful surrounding atmosphere, great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist and staff ever, lovely and great first impression of hotel. Everything about the hotel was exceptional. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I was very pleased with my stay. I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

The reception staff were so helpful and friendly. Room large,kettle. Fridge microwave very comfortable.Bed amazing. Shower great.easy access to trams.breakfast basic but OK if you eat it. Would recommend this to everybody. Its a gem. We stayed in room 49.. amazing...

Staff was gold and was always ready to help and suggest different things if one asked. The room (familyroom) itself was a little shabby and cold. Could use some TLC. A bigger bathroom or separate toilet from bathroom would have been nice. But for a sleeping place it suited our needs. Transportation to and from hotel was amazing with tram stopping right in front of the hotel.

Very nice property and enjoyable stay. Reception staff are very friendly and helpful and the room we stayed in was well maintained with comfy beds and practical bathrooms. Breakfast is ok, not many hot options and we had scrambled egg that was cold? Not sure if that was the intention but we didn’t have any more. The staff in the breakfast room could have been nicer, often turning the lights off and packing up before the advertised breakfast end time. Overall however the hotel was very nice and if you don’t mine a slightly odd breakfast then its a pleasant stay. One thing to note, the coffee making facility is just a kettle and cups. You will need to find a spoon as we didn’t have any in our room so maybe something they could add for future guests. There is a lidl just down the road that you can buy Tea and coffee for your room. The hotel location is great with the tram station immediately outside the door so it makes getting into the town incredibly easy and we found buying the 72 hour pass was worth having as it gets you on all transport. Overall I would recommend this as great place to stay while in Prague

Unfortunately we didnt have a good stay...the hotel itself its ok...staff members are lovely ...we book 2 nights stay and we weren't able to sleep both nights due to next door rude guests parting into early hours in the morning ...first night... despite complaning to reception and them intervening they continued to party and disrupt othe guests..the second night same guests decided to drink, shout jump from beds knock on our door and hide and ring constanty our room's phone .....receptionist did contact them to stop but that made it worse and they put hairdryer on at 1 am and shower and fan just to disturb us...this went on till 2 am!!!very disappointed...may be the hotel should have offered us a different room or have security there to kick them out after so many warning .....we sadly are never going to stay in this hotel again ...
