Relax Inn

Who the heck decided this is a 4 star hotel. You must be kidding. We arrived there on the 3rd December and had travelled more than 40 minutes from the airport. We were put into a room/cupboard on the 5th floor. The room was very small and we had an immediate ‘smell’ which we couldn’t identify. As it was late 10.30pm we decided to go straight to bed. During the night we had to have a trip to the loo to find hundred of tiny ant like insects running all over the bathroom floor. In the morning we checked out the rest of the room which was desperately in need of painting and there was damp in the walls and ceiling. Also on the ceiling was a strange plastic thing covering a hole, also showing damp. We also decided the carpet was the reason for the smell. We were changed to a slightly larger room on the 1st floor which had been specially cleaned and sprayed with air freshener. I could go on but you must get the picture by now.! The larger was better but not that much and definitely not 4 star better. The breakfast included was pretty basic although what was there was ok. I think just because it had a pool it had got the high rating. But it is not as it sounds and I am also following this up with the agent who booked it for us along with photos

Extra charges for use of facilities such as pool and sauna. Had to close the bathroom door to use the toilet. Other than beans there wasn't anything hot for the breakfast buffet.
