Very beautiful, a city with a great travel experience, and the hotel is also very comfortable

The room was spacious and very nice. There were no particular issues and I was able to stay very comfortably. Breakfast was included and the variety was very satisfying.

There is something wrong with the hairdryer. The wind is still freezing after blowing for a long time, and it is not strong enough. Everything else is very good👍

Very clean hotel and well connected to the city center (about 10 minutes by tram). Nearby there are all the services you need such as groceries, supermarkets and night clubs. Well-stocked sweet and savory breakfast

Pleasantly surprised at just how good this hotel is. Pleasant helpful staff, spotlessly clean and spacious room, good internet, very comfortable large bed, excellent breakfast and good transport nearby. Opposite the hotel is a very good supermarket and a short walk up the road is the Prague TV Tower and park which is well worth a visit. Sound insulation of the room was very good and we were not disturbed at all by the frequent trams passing by.

The hotel is close to tram stops which basically makes it convenient to get to anywhere in Prague. There are good and reasonably priced restaurants within short walking distance and the rooms are nice and clean. To top it off, it has a great breakfast spread too!

Can't complain about the bedrooms - large king sized bed, comfy temperature due to that the global warming really is closing in on central Europe making the city appear like a sauna from heck at daytime. But: that is probably more thanks to the laws of physics than the AC, our friends melted on the top floor (we got the bottom). The breakfast must be the most disgusting meal I ever (almost) had. Me myself identify as a food lover, not a gourmand but as someone who's appetite never fails; havn't missed a meal in years and have, drunk as fudge, been picking cold left over fries from strangers plates at fast food chains in the middle of the night at times. I can eat food that's not my favourite without complaining. But this really was next level; it doesn't look much to the world but it's first when you try to grab a bite the real disaster reveals itself. The bread might have been cut into slices a week ago, two weeks, who knows? You probably could slit someones artery vein with it. Or beat a small animal over the edge. Going on to the cheese; I wanted to stay safe and go for a mild one just to discover that the cheese station was a mixed up mayhem of gouda, gorgonzola and blue mold cheese that smelled worse that santas breath itself. Off to the eggs then; the scrambled ones looked like porrige most of the time and smelled like a farm house, tried out the hard boiled instead, almost impossible to peel just to discover that the yolk was green and gray in a deep unpleasent way, awakening my alien paranoia. Vegetables you might wonder. Yes, in a very east european way; canned salad still swimming in it's liquid (!) Just when you thought your sickness couldn't get any worse. Tried out the yoghurt, just to discover that it's been poured up in huge bowls and got the same temperature as the breakfast restaurant itself which led to the conclusion that the pouring might have happened many hours ago. Or that the Czech Republic still hasn't discovered the benefits of refrigerators. The cakes and sweets looked glossy and delicious but do not get fooled by that, the artificial taste forces you to, in best case, in a calm sense wonder what's in there and if it's even legal. I myself also mourned that something so beautiful also could be filled with poison (great song by Venom) and that my naive mind thought that this, the last outpost, would save me. Shout out to the butter that actually was served in small, disposable packages. And to the coffee that was actually strong. Probably two days old and full of crap but I was to desperate to care by then. As a scandinavian I need my caffeine, and are apparantly used to higher standards. But in this case I totally had to reevaluate my self image, faceing my limit at the rock bottom breakfast hoovering feelings in my body that made me realise that there was no guarantee that this gruesome dirt would stay for long if I tried to put it in there. I was beaten, and both sick and hungry, leaving the room of horro

We booked a short break to Prague for our wedding anniversary and stayed at the Hotel Carlton. We were thoroughly pleased with our stay. The hotel was clean, the staff friendly, a decent breakfast was included in the price, plus it was really convient for catching the tram into the old town from just down the road Our room was lovely and included a huge bedroom, living area and bathroom. We would definitely stay there again.

This is my second stay in this hotel and I am very pleased with my stay and the hotel personnel. I would like to especially mention that during my last stay I have only noticed that I have done booking for the incorrect dates when I arrived to the hotel and the booking was non-refundable type, however the receptionist and the manager let me stay in the hotel by changing the dates without any extra charge. Overall, the room is very clean and hotel design is authentic. In my previous stay I had a chance to have breakfast in the hotel as well and iwas very pleased with the selections and the quality of food. Definitely recommend to anyone planning a trip to Prague!

A great reasonably-priced hotel. I reserved months before staying and asked for a number of special pillow and bedding features all of which were in place exactly as requested! Outstanding! Good location as a number of trams are available at the nearby Lipanska stop. Air-conditioning, good breakfast buffet, very nice people, good-sized rooms, digitally lockable safe, mini-fridge, lots of clothing storage (you'll probably have to ask for additional hangers). Only minor complaint: very few TV channels and the only one in English was BBC News but BBC is always good. Highly recommended.

Clean and tidy hotel. Perfect location with a tram stop just a minute walk away, with a 15 min tram ride into the heart of the old town. Fresh towels everyday. Bit of outside noise from the tram but didn't disturb sleep. Breakfast was continental with a few cooked bits. Also had gluten free bread which was great as both of the guests are gluten intolerant. Supermarket across the road so you can get some bits if needed. Lovely stay.

The carlton is a lovely hotel in a great location. All the staff i met were cheerful, and happy to help . Checking in and out was simple and efficient . The rooms are very spacious and well decorated , they are also very clean, as is all the hotel. Breakfast room was also lovely, a good selection of continental style food with plenty to go at!! There is also a decent size bar area although i did not use it. You are 5 mins or 4 stops from the city on the tram, you buy your ticket on board, don't be put off by that because it is really simple although you will find the trams to be extremely busy and we had to stand up every time but there are absolutely loads of them. We finished our nights in the local bars, they are very cheap, about 50 or 60 crowns for a large beer. Hardly any English spoken as you are in the local area but you will get by. Did not eat locally but there are a couple of restaurants and local takeaways. All in all a fantastic hotel,in a beautiful building,in a great location with lovely staff!! Definitely one to try, highly recommended!
