Protaras Plaza Hotel

Reception very good

This small hotel is at an excellent location, it is only a minute away by foot to fig tree bay. The Staff are very friendly .It is very clean . The breakfast is quite adequate and the breakfast staff are very friendly and accommodating. We have stayed here before and with definitely stay here again.

This hotel is in a wonderful location at the top of the *****. It's conveniently located next to the bus stops and Fig Tree Bay. (If you want a bed on Fig Tree Beach, you need to be there at 8 -8.30 am.) There is a swimming pool here at the hotel, with plenty of beds and brollies. I found the pool area very quiet and I prefer somewhere with a bit more atmosphere. The staff were marvellous. Demetrious, Rabin and the hilarious Nina, Nina Nina on reception, they we're all brilliant. My room was lovely and the beds very comfortable. The hotel cleaned to a very high standard. My only concern was the food. If you were taking your meals early then there was a great selection of food. The later you came into the restaurant, the food presentation and refilling of the food diminished. One day there were no baked beans and the serving dish had dried tomato sauce, indicating there hadn't been any for a while. I asked for some. I then witnessed a few beans being warmed up in a pan on a cooker and then being put into the dried up serving dish. On another evening with an Italian theme, there were 5 meatballs left. I know this is not the end of the world, but I never saw any food being replaced of replenished. I was never in the restaurant at the end of service but with a least 40 minutes to go. I just got the impression that nobody cared about the food and overall it felt like the hotel management were trying to save on food expenditure. Overall I had an great stay at the hotel, but will not be returning...

Just returned from a one week holiday staying at the Protaras Plaza Hotel.absolutely brilliant Hotel, Sea View room ,very clean ,and comfortable.staff exceptional,Nice breakfast,plenty of choice,good position in Protaras. With in easy reach of the good sandy beach. Short stroll to centre of town, the only problem ,a week wasn’t long enough,will be coming back and will stay at this Hotel .

Just spent a week at the Protaras Plaza, loved every minute of my stay, hotel is excellent, all the staff from management down were, kind, courteous, friendly and helpful throughout my visit they could not do enough for you, i was half board and enjoyed the breakfast and evening meals, the rooms are extremely clean and the maids came in every day to make the beds and change the towels, the pool area is well kept and i had no trouble getting a sun lounger, i tried the revolving bar on the roof one night and although they don't sell beer up there they do have shorts and cocktails, the hotel is situated at the quiet end of the ***** so no problems with noise, all in all i would definitely recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again, 10 out of 10.

OMG! What an amazing place to stay while on your holidays. The hotel was spotless, staff amazing, it was not overcrowded so there was always a sunlounger and the location was a 10/10. I would 100% recommend this hotel and i cannot wait to return next year.

This is one lovely hotel! If you want a place that isn’t huge and over crowded then this is the place. Never short of a sun bed, the pool is never overcrowded and the accommodation is lovely. As for the staff well they are nothing short of incredible, they are friendly and welcoming and take the time to have a chat and a laugh. We will be back for sure!

Weve just come home from protaras plaza. We really enjoyed our stay. All staff very friendly. And spotlessly clean. Food was very nice. Even tho not lots of choice. But it was allways hot. We will definatly come back thank you. Lesley Plunkett
