Eala My Lakeside Dream - Adults Friendly
4.7/568 Reviews
Eala My Lakeside Dream is a resort and spa located north of Lake Garda and five minutes drive from the town of Lamone. My wife and I chose to stay at the Eala Resort and Spa for a five-night stay to celebrate our honeymoon. Overall, our stay at Eala Lake Garda Resort and Spa was good, let down by an unfortunate incident at the end. We liked the friendly staff, the spa and facilities and the decor of rooms and hotel. But we would have liked to see complimentary filtered water per night, more variety at the breakfast buffet, reliable Wi-Fi and the ability to iron our clothes without a fee. Spa and Facilities The hotel features a spa with an indoor pool, a relaxation room, two saunas, a steam room, an ice room and a whirlpool. The spa is one of the best we have experienced, is on par with the London Corinthia Hotel, but has the added benefit of a spectacular view of Lake Garda. During our stay, we opted for the fifty-minute couples massage. Our therapists and the treatment were excellent. Rooms and ammendaties The rooms are spacious and feature a modern design. All of the rooms come standard with a balcony and view of the lake, regardless of room type. We stayed in a deluxe room, which included a queen-sized bed, a separate bath and shower, and a Juliet sink. The included shower gels and soaps are the same products provided in the spa. They are easy on sensitive skin and feature a relaxing aroma. They’re some of the best products I've experienced in a hotel. Water is complimentary on the first day but will come at a fee for subsequent days. We got charged 16 euros at checkout for filtered water, which came as a surprise. There is no iron in the room and the hotel does not provide them. However, the hotel provides an ironing service, at a fee of between three - fifteen euros. To iron your T-shirt will cost you five euros. The lighting controls were not intuitive to use. It was difficult to identify what switch controlled what light. The washrooms in the hotel operate on sensors, which shut off whilst you are using them, so make sure you wave your arms around whilst doing your business. Food and service To start, you don't sign for anything in this hotel, so the only time you see a bill, except for spa services, is at the end of your stay. Instead, staff take your room number and then you order what you want. We felt that this was good and bad. There is nothing more annoying than staff members taking payment from other guests whilst you are trying to relax by the pool. However, sometimes mistakes can happen and to avoid nasty surprises at checkout, it's good to keep tabs on what you've been charged for. The resort features three restaurants, which include a lounge bar and grill. We ate at the poolside and breakfast area. The breakfast was good and offered a good selection of cereals, pastries and cold meats. However, it lacked variety and on the third day of our five-night stay, we became bored with the choices. Lefay Resort & Spa Lago di Garda

Very relaxing experience and great a**osphere. Hotel location and facilities were amazing. Especially Spa with multiple saunas and pools was absolutely enjoyable. Italian food was delicious and staff was really friendly. One little thing was missing, though. Theme of our trip was to celebrate travel companion’s 160 yo anniversary (70, 50 and 40 yo birthdy this year). We had informed about the theme of our trip to the Hotel beforehand by email and in some way we thought small gesture, a card, fruit plate or even kind words would have been a nice touch, to grace this but that didn’t happen. When you are celebrating something, Hotels usually Like to honour event in some small nice gestures, so it feels a bit unusual that something this remarkable was left without attention, especially when Lefay is a a 5 start Resort with really high rates. This is itself as a small thing, but in someway was really surprised, because this has never happen to us before and felt Like something was missing. As a whole Resort was great and Hopefully we can experince other Lefay Resorts as well.

The first experience of camping went to great! Camping Nanzel is a fantastic discovery. It is not very big but is extremely quiet. The beach is wonderful. Ideal place for a relaxing holiday in family or couple! The campsite has bars and minimarkets, bathrooms and dishes, washing machine. The bathrooms are clean ... but would be needed (i.e. not because of the structure) a little more education from guests! The weighing is extremely nice and prudent. Ideal for German tourists.. the lady of the reception speaks very well. good location to get to the city walk. I strongly advise!

Who is looking for a nice, very well located, small, individual hotel that has a super friendly host, good breakfast, atmosphere and quiet to offer, is right here! Yes, the small house has come into the years - a stick of morbid charm - but it fits to the Gardasee, here in the autumn sun that you can enjoy at breakfast on the lovely covered terrace. Whoever likes individually is right here! Host Tiziana: super! We're coming back!

We stayed 5 nights here in early July as part of a coach party and to be honest was a little bit apprehensive -based on some earlier reviews. Well, we were more than satisfied !! We had a huge bedroom with plenty of storage space, a separate large kitchen with kettle and fridge, bathroom with shower and a large double balcony spreading across both the bedroom and kitchen. From the balcony we could glimpse Lake Garda -it was on the corner of the hotel, but, quiet enough. There is air conditioning which was much appreciated when we were there !It was on an upper floor, but, there is a lift. Breakfast was very impressive except for the fiddly little teacups with oddly designed handles-but, really I'm nit picking there ! Breakfast is a buffet with plenty of choice-both hot and cold-sets you up for the day. As we were part of a tour group we had to choose our evening meal in the morning. The choice again was absolutely fine-the food was really good and tasty and the service was great. Evening meal was a buffet starter followed by pasta then a meat/fish dish with vegetables followed by a small dessert-often a cake. I think vegetarians were well catered for . Alcohol was available for purchase and added to your Room number. Plenty of seating around the hotel and the pool is lovely-when we had time to use it. I can thoroughly recommend this hotel and the area is so beautiful ! We went with an Edwards Coach trip and had a wonderful time-so much to see in the area. Every member of staff was unfailingly friendly and polite and all worked hard to ensure everything went smoothly -a splendid hotel !
