I love this place for its location near a huge forest great for running and cycling - even on a freezing winter morning! It was a good price, well organised, friendly staff and very clean. It is away from most things near an industrial estate but I chose it for the proximity to the forest and all the trails there :) It was also a simple walk to a small town with pizza and some basics. I didn't have the breakfast as it seemed quite expensive and was too busy running ;)

Nous avons passé 3 nuits dans cet hôtel à l'automne. L'expérience fut plutôt positive mais quelques petits détails viennent un peu assombrir le tableau. La bonne nouvelle, c'est qu'ils peuvent être gommés assez facilement. Il manque quelques crochets ou porte-manteaux pour pouvoir faire sécher les vêtements humides après une randonnée sous la pluie, d'autant que le chauffage n'est pas des plus efficace... Il manque des tentures capables de bloquer la lumière du jour pour ne pas être réveillé au lever du soleil (qui passe à travers les volets qui ne ferment pas bien... ). Dans un pays de café comme l'Italie, des sachets de ”Nescafé” dans la chambre, c'est moyen... La literie pourrait être plus confortable (matelas et oreillers très durs)... Le vin de la maison est à éviter... Bref, ce genre de détails qui peuvent facilement être améliorés. A part ça, l'hôtel dispose d'un parking vaste et accessible, ce qui n'est pas forcément le cas partout au lac de Côme. La situation est aussi un gros plus : on est au calme en dehors de la ville mais proche de tout. Un sentier permet même de rejoindre le centre du village en 30 minutes. Enfin, le petit déjeuner dispose de sucré et salé pour contenter tout le monde.

One of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at!! Everyone at the hotel is so helpful and kind, and we hope to come back one day. My wife’s passport was stolen on the way to Lake Como and we were stressed about the what to do, but Chiara and Josh helped us find the police station, embassy, best train routes, etc. Thanks to their help, we were able to get a new passport in half a day and enjoy the rest of the time at Lake Como. The hotel is located right by the ferry station, perfect for visiting the neighboring towns. After a long day exploring, we would have dinner and drinks at the restaurant/bar overlooking the lake. Not only was this hotel beautiful and in a perfect location in Como, the entire staff was amazing which made this hotel one of the best we’ve stayed at! If you’re debating to stay at this hotel or not, just do it. It’s worth it!
