Staff: Bar staff and shop staff were all friendly. Some of the reception staff were helpful but some of them looked at you like you were dumb when you asked them questions. The lady in charge of the excursions was great. Room: Room was okay with ceiling fan and AC. Appreciated the bath in the bathroom. Wasn't expecting to not be able to flush the toilet paper but oh well. Would have appreciated a bidet. Also, the cleaning staff would only give you one replacement towel which was annoying as the shower would splash onto the floor so you'd have to use the towel to dry it after. There is no kettle or tea / coffee making facilities. There is no iron or ironing board. Value: I think this hotel should not call itself all inclusive and is no where near 4 star. You can only get one pre-chosen cocktail per day, if you want a different one you have to pay €6 extra which is a rip off. It doesn't make sense because you are allowed all of the ingredients for free but not the cocktail!!! The outdoor swimming pool was FREEZING and you have to pay to use the inside heated one. Spa is not available every day either and comes at an extra cost. The only warm water outside was the hot tub which was meant to be adults only but it was full of kids everyday. The reason you will see mixed reviews is because the quality of the same room type varies. Eg all 4 of us had single person rooms, but for one of us the balcony light was broken, one had a fridge but no one else did, my fan worked but others didn't. For some reason the towel system was so complicated! You could only pay to rent the towel between 10am-6pm which is useless if you're going on excursions or even just want to go to the beach early. Then you couldn't even collect it from reception, you had to go and get it from the lifeguard downstairs. Then, you couldn't return it to reception for cleaning, you just gave it to the lifeguard who put it back in the shed so idk if any of the towels were actually clean. Then finally you bring a card back to reception and they print off paper for you to sign. Never had to put in so much work for a beach towel! Cleanliness: Main hotel was clean but rooms were a bit dusty. For some reason the cleaning staff wouldn't take down any plates, cutlery or glasses that I used which is unusual. They didn't change the bedding for the whole 7 nights I was there which was unpleasant - they just remade the bed. Food: I found the food to be okay. Not a great deal of variety, more focused on kids than adults. I noticed that multiple items were mislabeled which might be dangerous for allergies, however I did see a staff member guiding a man with allergies around so that was good to see. My main issue is you can only get coffee and hot water at breakfast!!!!!!!! If you want coffee or tea or hot water you have to go downstairs to the pool area. Really silly policy - to clarify it's not fresh coffee, they simply choose to turn off the machine in the dining room for the rest of the day. Acc
