Some very good points to this lovely hotel but a few points worth remembering. Firstly we live PDC and have come several times, this is the first time to this hotel and has a whole we would say it is worth value for money. Good: Staff - They couldnt be more friendly and helpful. When we arrived our electrics didn’t work (very quick fix) and on our second day the hotel had no access to water (believe it could of been the whole street) water access was back by early afternoon. The staff was informative, apologetic and both incidents where a quick fix. Breakfast - Great selection, warm and enjoyable, no complaints. We only did B&B so can’t comment on evening. Location - Do your research, yes it’s on a big hill but a taxi is 4 euros. Taxis are everywhere and reception will order you one too. 25min walk to the main *****, 10 minute walk to the old harbour. Both areas full of restaurants and bars to choose from. Also a supermarket round the corner which is useful. Also close the the Biosfera shopping center. Bad: Sunbeds - First few mornings we didn’t get up early and struggled with beds. Following morning I went down at half 7 and all but 6 beds were gone. After speaking around people were getting up at half 6 to put towels down but going out for majority of the day. One morning staff did take all towels away so people who where there could get one but very inconsistent. Extra Info: Money - The bar is card only or you tab a bill up to your room number and pay at reception - Not an issue but just worth noting. Pool - Not an issue to me but again worth noting it is a saltwater pool and VERY cold. I’m always a pool fan so didn’t bother me but just be wary it isn’t heated. All in all a good hotel, worth the money in a good location and helpful staff. Would recommend to people who don’t want to be right on top of the ***** but can also get to it easily. 8/10
