Avoid if possible, this is not 3 star lucky if it’s 2, not cheap to stay here through jet 2 Reception staff don’t give a s. t No running water first day, they didn’t care,room dirty had to clean everything,and dated, shower nowhere to put anything, plates and glasses missing or all different, fridge that was from the 80s same as patio furniture. Avoid at all cost this is a dump!

Excellent location close to the beach and main *****. Spacious apartments recently modernised. Our holiday was spoilt by the on going sunbed problems. Problems brought on by selfish people and the management ignoring their own policy on this issue. When we arrived we were given a sheet of paper with information about the complex and it says if sunbeds are reserved and not used within 40 minutes towels ect would be removed so others could use them and there were two small A4 notices around the pool stating the same. We couldnt get a sunbed for the first three days because towels which were there permanently with no one using them. We mentioned this to the person on reception she took our room number and said she would tell the manager. Nothing changed. Spoke to the same person two days laterand asked why they dont follow their own rules on this issue she couldnt give an answer. After that things did get a bit better and towels seemed to be removed over night and we were able to get a sunbed. We also spoke to the jet2 rep and said they were working to solve this on going problem. Bad management by not following their own rules. In the end we were so fed up most days we went to the beach instead. Was a shame to have to complain like this on holidayand shame on the management for not caring enough about the majority of guests rather than a selfish few who thought it was their own private right right to these sunbeds although not using them for most of the day and in some cases all day. Would we come back not while this is an on going issue. We want to feel we are as equally valued as everyone else as guests and we didnt feel we were.

Stayed in September & rented a private upper ground apartment. The complex is large with grounds meticulously kept. With only a stroll to the ***** adjacent at the end of the road it’s easy do see why it’s so popular. We arrived late evening and heading out came through the solarium green area which was crammed with sun beds with towels on the majority of them. We came down the for our first morning by the pool for 9.00am and got the last two sun beds. The most coveted ones are the sun beds with the brown covers and the white sun bed underneath. We eat out a couple of times for breakfast and lunch but our time predominately was by the pool. There is a clear sign stating that towels placed before 9am would be removed. This was not the case we met a few people who spent three days with no sunbeds. As I prefer the pool to the beach we were at the pool for the stay of our ten days but the pool area is too small for the amount of sun beds. The hardest working lady who mopped and wiped and cleaned the pool area tried to enforce the towel rule. One bed for the ten days of our trip had a towel on it and the guy was at the beach! We eat in the pool bar once, the food is fine, drinks etc, the music was a bit loud on days but you got used to it. While the complex grounds are kept very tidy and the areas around the pool bad management of the sun bed wars would prevent us from staying again. It’s never happened to me before in Lanzarote. I know people can be selfish but the complex has to be seen to enforce the rules.

We are here at the moment and are absolutely loving everything about the resort. The apartments are clean modern and have air con in the lounge .At first thought having no air con in the bedrooms might be an issue but they are cool and comfortable if you leave your bedroom door open and allow the air to circulate . Staff are helpful throughout the resort from reception maids and gardening . The resort is in an excellent location with everything you need within a minutes walking distance .. shops restaurants bars beach and supermarkets. Yes there is an issue with Sunbeds being reserved overnight and this is horrendous and very frustrating .. however this is currently being addressed by management and is improving . We are looking to return soon and highly recommend .

A lovely hotel, cleaner came every other day and changed the bedding, gave us clean towels. The outside cleaners. Were always sweeping mopping around by the pool. One lady on reception always said hello. The apartments itself is big and spacious, has been updated since we last stayed and now has air conditioning. Makes such a difference. We over looked the pool. If you like going to the pool, be warned, there are some very SELFISH people here. They put there towels out for the whole duration of the holiday, dont use them at all, just put them on the beds and thats where they stay pegged up and people never to be seen again. The beds should be chained up like they do in other hotels.

Last day today at Labranda Playa Club. Great location just back from the main road meaning it's quiet at night but everything is just a short walk away. The apartment we stayed in was away from the pool with a garden view, great for feeding the Parakeets at breakfast. They quickly learn and wait for you the next day! The complex is kept meticulously clean and and a big shout out to the staff who work here cannot do enough for you 👍. The pool bar is great to grab a drink or snack during the day. As with a lot of reviews the sunbeds are an issue here and yes the management need to do more about this. However before blaming them, there is no excuse to be so selfish and leave your towel on the beds overnight!! On our first week 95% of the beds were like this. The only answer to this now is for the management to not only remove these at night but dispose of them until these people learn that there are others on holiday too! 5 stars to the staff for making our stay and enjoyable one

Currently here at the moment was a bit wary about here because of some reviews.We are in room 247 totally modernised spacious and clean looks out onto pool area ,front door is on a gardened area .Situated on the ***** of bars restaurants and everything you need beach across the road.First night no noise at all even though bars were still open very much recommend these apartments and would definately be coming again.One moan on the reviews was no washing up liquid there is a whole lot of shops around the corner buy some lol .

The location is great, close proximity to local shops, restaurants and bars. The apartments and grounds are well kept and the atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. A little bit of a problem with sunbeds as previous arrivals tend to hold on to them with their towels overnight, but eventually you get some. Beach is just cross the road. The complex also has a good pool bar which also serves snacks and in the evenings there is a good value restaurant attached to the complex which has a singer on some nights a week. A truly enjoyable stay.

We've been using Plays Club every year since 2011 sometimes twice a year but we think this will be our last visit as the behaviour of the guests this year has been totally selfish regarding sunbeds. We arrived at 9pm and every sunbed around the pool already had a towel on it and in the garden area where our apartment was situated people had taken the sunbeds and placed them on their terrace so no one else could use them. We spoke to a guy on reception and he told us that they were told by management not to take any action to stop it happening. Plays Club you're letting your guests down, we'll be spending our hard earned money elsewhere
