Club Oceano

The staff were excellent, professional and friendly The room was clean and well equipped. The tv and internet were free. The food served in the bar was hot and tasty We were in room 23 which is a corner apartment which gets little sunshine. We had great fun in the pools every day, though I read some reviews which complained about the cold water. We had no problem in October and the Athenian first week in November 2024. The jacuzzi was not very hot but warm enough to enjoy and use. Overall we had a positive experience staying here

Two weeks of a fabulous family holiday holiday in the sun. Staff were courteous and friendly but we have to say Jordan (the bar man) was exceptional, always going over and above, he is a valuable asset to the complex. We have been on numerous occasions and have always had a lovely time. The accommodation is located in a great location with a short walk to the beach, restaurants and shops.

I have had a great week first time staying here. Reception staff and 1 of the bar staff were helpful. However the young guy working behind the bar seemed a bit arrogant and on Saturday evening I felt like the younger barmaid with dark hair mocked me for having a disability. I would 100% stay here again despite this.

We stayed at Club Oceano in July and really enjoyed our 1st stay in Puerto del Carmen with its beautiful beach. The room was spacious and clean with lots of cooking facilities, including an oven. Although, the one thing we were pleasantly surprised by was how cheap it was to eat and drink in Carmen, so you maybe wouldn't bother cooking. The food available at Oceano was great and hit the spot, drinks were plentiful and both were priced on par to the resort. The location was great for The ***** just a short 5 minutes walk away passing a few bars on the way. Unlike a nearby hotel where we witnessed people running to get sunbeds when the gate was opened to the pool, there were no sunbed wars, as there were always plenty available during the day. It was a very relaxed vibe around the pool and lovely to chat to other guests, most of whom were repeat visitors, which is testament to the staff. If I had any negatives, it would be that the lad in the bar could smile a bit more and learn a few manners - a simple please and thank you doesn't hurt when serving guests....... We would love to come back to Puerto del Carmen and stay at Club Oceano, no doubt about it, it just does what it sets out to do.

The complex was superb. Cleaners etc were very good. The place was spotless. Pool area was nice. All in all everything was good. However the front of house staff were appalling!!! Clients were made feel like an inconvenience. Lynnete being the worst of all. Would never go back!!!

Just spent a week at Oceano it was our second time and we enjoyed it, I’m a great believer in you get what you pay for in holidays and that is the case here. The apartment has everything you need but it’s all fairly basic,bathroom, nice walk in shower but shower pressure is poor, towels worn etc Beds are awful and have a plastic mattress cover on them, not the best ! TV has 4/5 English channels. The pool area and sunbed situation is excellent, nice pool and plenty of beds also the pool bar and snacks are excellent and reasonably priced, all the staff are excellent and very obliging , the apts are in a good location for everything , supermarkets, bars and the sea front , a few tweaks and they could be so much better, we would stay here again
