The villa premiere property is a great size for its intimacy all adult boutique ambiance. I was expecting a more upscale atmosphere. The rooms were very basic. I am aware that most boutique hotels will combine its historic detail. However, this property needs to be updated. I did appreciate the five-minute complementary massage when you check-in. The night we arrived, I arranged to have the private dinner on the pier. The set up along with our waiter Rubin was amazing he was a lavish host. He also took some very memorable pictures. I decided to upgrade to a larger room to include a Jacuzzi on the second night. It was my fiancé birthday and I wanted this excursion to be unforgettable. Sadly, to say we was not impressed at all. For the price I paid to upgrade was a HUGE dissatisfaction. Defiantly wasn’t worth the amount of money needless to say. The Jacuzzi was outdated, dirty, and the water wouldn’t stay in. The balcony view was trash; There was a privacy concrete wall half way up along with a small piece of glass. You had to literally stand on the outdated Jacuzzi stairs or chair to view anything. We decided to stay an additional night, despite the bad perception we were left with. The following morning, we went to the front desk with our concerns of the upgrade and informed them we wanted to add another night. I felt as if our concerns were brushed off. No apologies were giving, accommodating your guest for future returns should have been key. This expedition was a celebratory getaway. The clerk over charged me for the additional stay big time. The elevator was super small only three people could fit at a time. The food choices at the two restaurants lacked big time. On one of the evenings myself and fiancé exited before finishing the selected menu. I will say that the attendee attempted to accommodate the menu. At this point of time we were just over it. Room service & the pool bar appetizers were way better. We did have the all-inclusive bundle so we were privileged to have access to the sister hotel next door. Their buffet and pool bar food was very appetizing. We ate there daily for breakfast & lunch needless to say. I saw that this hotel is categorized as a five star. I will say that they have ways to go. I’m not sure that I would return, I was hoping that this would have been a yearly enjoyment for us.
