I stayed at Tierra Viva in Puno, Sacred Valley, and Machupicchu. All were great, comfortable, with a dash of luxury. What was remarkable during our last stay in Puno is that we received attentive and heart-warming service by Maicrus that made us feel welcome at all times. Great stay here, we arrived not so fresh off the night bus but the staff at Kaaro were super helpful - we managed to check in early and for 10 soles we were able to have the breakfast that morning too. They also helped us arrange our tour of the Uros Islanda. The room is comfortable and has a great hot shower! Recommend staying here if you’re passing through Puno!

This is a lovely little boutique hotel that is less than a 100 meters from the Plaza de Armas and Cathedral. The rooms were comfortable and quiet. They provided a space heater for the chilly night. The Stagg was very friendly and the breakfast was nice with some selections of bread, fruit, scrambled eggs and sausage, cereal, and of course coffee and tea selections. They offer coca tea too for those arriving at altitude.

Such a pleasure to arrive here after a long day of traveling. Check-in was super fast, room keys were ready and rooms were next to each other without having to ask, fantastic pizza a block away, close to the main square, there's a heater in the room, the shower was hot with great water pressure, and they made us a boxed breakfast when we told them we had an early tour. Highly recommended!

Lovely decadent hotel, very unique and with beautiful decor inside, and only half a block away from the main square. It has heaters in the rooms, unlike some of the other hotels in Puno. Breakfast is basic but delicious. For the price this hotel is a bargain, I highly recommend it for one or two nights in Puno and it’s definitely worth to stay here overnight and take a morning walk at the lake.

Service was great, workers were nice and very accommodating, hotel is centrally located close to eateries and right in the town center, great location. The room was comfortable in size and clean. It looks like they maintain the hotel had new paint. Will recommend to friends and family!

Good hotel in a fantastic location right next to the main square. Very comfortable beds and combined with slight altitude dizziness had best night sleep! Breakfast spread could be a bit better/more filling, but it was good. There were issues with hot water on both nights I stayed here, and it took a while, but the staff were very attentive and fixed it.
