Secrets Tides Punta Cana - Adults Only

Excellent food and service with relaxing beach and pool. Top notch hotel. I will definitely return to Secrets Tides.

This resort met all our expectations!! It was gorgeous , staff were very helpful and the food was great!! No complaints!! Highly recommend!

The Secrets Tides Punta Cana is a lovely hotel. The design and layout are wonderful, and easy to navigate. My room was very pretty, however, there was not soaking tub in the room. This is one of my favorite things to have for a vacation. The beach is very pretty, but do not expect that white sand like in Cap Cana. The water was very calm during our stay. The staff are wonderful, and anticipated all of our needs. Good entertainment, and fun nightlife.

We had such a fun time. Very relaxing. We had so much a fun time so much food to pick from and staff so sweet and willing to help with a smile on their face. Everyone says hello. I would go back in a heart beat.

Could not have been more pleased with the staff and facilities, great choice will recommend highly, Staff friendly, beach beautiful, felt safe and secure, be careful you don't eat to much as there was so much variety.

We were so happy that we booked with Secrets Tides! The resort is gorgeous and well kept. Our preferred swim out was our sanctuary. Juan at the “quiet” pool was so attentive and checked on us while we were in our swim out relaxing. William in housekeeping made sure our room was comfortable and clean. Rosie and Jordi at the preferred lounge were always smiling and ready to make us any drink we wanted. Juan C at the preferred pool bar was so happy and kind and full of energy. David at Showtime bar makes a great old fashioned (Rosie’s is great as well). Everyone was so friendly and ready to make our stay the best. The food was fantastic at all the restaurants and the buffet blew our minds because we came with little expectations but it was one of our favorite places. We can’t wait to go back!

Beautiful new, modern resort with all the amenities on a beautiful beach.We were greeted upon arrival by Fernando and William with smiles. Made us feel like family right away with all the love. Plenty of pools to choose from. We were preferred so with spent a lot of time in the preferred pool that had a good mix of chill and also mingling.Juan and Jordy were great bartenders always smiling and kept it fun! Rumelby was our butler and did a great job taking care of us. Beach had plenty of beds and chairs to choose from and the sand was soft and beach was wide. We enjoyed the food at Portifinos and El Patio the best although others were good as well. Angel at El Patio took great care of us and was so fun. Very nice variety of restaurants to choose from. Nightly shows, live music in the lobby and Desires lounge kept us entertained. Rooms were nicely equipped, we had a swim out and enjoyed having the opportunity to relax there too. The shower had warm water at its best which was the only negative we experienced. Room service was on time and good as well. We will definitely return and look forward to seeing our family of friends again.

Unfortunately my husband & I had the worst experience at this resort. We aren’t one to ever write a poor review but this resort truly couldn’t have been worse. To start off - the food was actually disgusting at some points. Chicken & beef were gristly and the food looked like it was straight out of a cafeteria. The sushi looked like it was just packaged. (We looked back at our pictures from a different Secrets stay & the sushi was incredible compared to Tides.) Unfortunately we both received bacteria infections during our stay which was a huge indication that the food was not fresh, undercooked, & just poor quality for what you’re paying for. If you’re gluten free, good luck finding anything here that’s appealing. Within the last year, my husband & I went to a different Secrets resort with an over flowering understanding of gluten free food & options for me to enjoy; I never went hungry. Each restaurant (& especially the buffet) at Tides I struggled to find something I could eat. I attached a picture of my gluten free room service pizza - disgusting. We also ordered room service for breakfast one morning & the tea water we poured out was BROWN. (I attached a picture) The thing that really sent us over the edge was there was a private event taking place during half of our stay (which is totally fine as it’s self). BUT You could tell that the resort consistently favored this group rather than also taking care of the other guests. This was the chatter for the week within all the guest’s & their experience. For example - we were Preferred so they took away our grills for lunch & closed a pool during the day just for the event. Along with getting rid of some day time activities so they could set up the evening events for the travel agency private event. All of these 5 star reviews you see on here are from Travel Agents that get free stays to rave about the resort. SO fake. The drinks were not great, lots of mixes & pre-made frozen drinks that got boring. The beach was mobbed with vendors trying to sell souvenirs & massages - no one was ever on the beach chairs specifically because of how annoying it was to be asked every 5 minutes if you wanted to purchase something. This resort always felt understaffed, not prepared, & consistently reminding us how disgusted we were at how much money we spent to stay there. I’m absolutely floored it’s rated this high on Google. We will be telling our family & friends to go elsewhere. Very disappointed
