Beautiful views of the bay, rooms basic but all you need to enjoy the resort, fantastic water pressure in the shower. Rooms were cleaned daily, and fresh towels given. The resort was amazing the pools were fantastic, activities were great for the children aged 7 and 10… the evening theatre bar had great entertainment and was a great place for making friends for the kids, while the adults had fun too. The food was amazing all you could ask for, And so well presented everyday a different selection at dinner. Staff always happy and keen to help. Would definitely recommend. It’s only downfall were some of the grounds were a little untidy, with weedy areas around the patio area outside the rooms and muddy trodden grass edges where the watering system had come on and been stepped in and run across multiple times by the busy staff buggies.

We returned to the Insotel Punta Prima Resort & Spa for the 4th time and our 12th visit to Menorca. We thought we knew what to expect and were under no illusions that this is more a 3 star rated resort. Check in was smooth and we were happy that we were allocated a Superior Apartment in an area we requested earlier. Unfortunately that was where any positives ended. We had seen previous reviews complaining that they could not get any reservations at the restaurants so we tried to book these before leaving the reception upon checking in. However, there was no availability. Maybe the hotel could offer 1 restaurant sitting to guests, which would free up availability for other guests by 100%. On the first night I saw a blood stain on the pillow protector and left it in the bath (as instructed) for the maid to replace the following day. This did not happen and the pillow was put back on my bed. There was also a large blood stain on the sofa. On our 2nd day we had no electricity from told an engineer would be with us in 10 mins. An hour later no one had come and we had to walk back to reception (this complex is large and built on a hill) and were told that someone would be coming shortly. We explained that we were very hungry and needed to get something to eat from the restaurant but the receptionist told us we had to wait in the room. It took until 9.30pm for the electricity to come back on but were told that there was a faulty socket in the kitchen and not to use it until they come back after 4pm the next day. Once the engineer was gone we noticed that the air conditioning, television and phone were still not working. We had to walk once again to reception. We spoke to the manager and explained our frustration of losing an afternoon/evening waiting in our apartment and that the restaurant was now closed. She informed us that we could still eat the left over buffet, which was not acceptable. She said she could not change our room as it would take 2 hours to clean another room so we would have to wait for the engineer to come back out. We then had to walk to the local town in order to get some hot food which is very annoying as we had paid for an All Inclusive holiday. Food - the food is the usual all inclusive offerings but the temperature is not warm enough. There are 3 dining rooms and it is the usual chaotic experience of an AI hotel. Food labeling is either missing or incorrect. I only eat chicken and was cautious when choosing the food. I was told by the chef that a dish was chicken, when in fact it turned out to be duck when I tasted a bit and showed my husband. I was told another dish was turkey when it turned out to be pork and the chicken nuggets were fish when I cut into them. This was quite distressing as I have never eaten any of these products before for strong reasons. Meats cooked on the grill by the pool are kept in the same container. Flies cover the pastries on the bar area, something that could be fixed by storing them in plastic co

Brilliant hotel for children. We visited their hotel in Majorca last year & so as there are now the slides here we thought we would try it. Great pools, splash pad, pirate ship pool & slides. Food fine. Managed to book the 2 restaurants which were lovely. No problems at all.

Despite reviews read, our family have loved this hotel!! We came in August 2024 2 adults and 2 teens and have had a fabulous time, the complex is beautiful our rooms were basic but cleaned well and often providing fresh towels daily. We have enjoyed all the food and drink, of course it’s been slightly repetitive but that’s the nature of all inclusive, not sure what people expect. The evening entertainment was slightly dated especially if you have teenagers but they entertained themselves playing football with other children. The drinks are all well known branded drinks and yes there is a queue but it’s not horrendous. We booked the tapas and Italian and both were fabulous. Really good all round thank you

Resort is Infrastruktur wise a a good 4 Star level but Service, Food and drinks somewhere between 2-3 Stars. All what is kids related is very good. The staff in Kids club, the activities, the pirate ship and the water slides so the kids were happy. The rooms are ok to good but never 5 star level. No soaps replaced, instant coffee in a 5 Star suite where I would expect a coffee Maschine. But that is all fine but the food is below any standard. No varsity and really poor quality. Together that there is just too many persons. I guess there were 1200 people at every dinner in the big Ressort. No clue how they get 5-Stars for that. Don’t take the offer to book a cava to start your holidays. You pay 40 Euro and you get a not cooled bottle of Hungarian Cava (was not even aware that it exist) what you can buy in trade at 3 .50 Euro without glasses. Same with the wine list. They sell you red wine for 35-40 Euro what is worth 7-8 Euro. Really sad that the resort wants to get some extra super margin and sell cheap wine expensive. I complained while being there and they really tried to do better and send us to the better part of the hotel the prestige hotel next door. Where the experience is better during eating but the quality is still poor. So dispite that I like the hotel infrastructure I will never ever consider any hotel of this group. I think it is not ok to claim to be a 5 Star resort and fail completely on service and F&B quality. The word I ever experienced in 30 years traveling in regard of food and drinks offering.

Not to come back! Expectations were high, but the following incidents made it worse: 1. Check in process was very slow, it took nearly 1h for us to be able to check in, while before us there were only 6 to check in. There was a free desk for another receptionist, but they did not use it. I complained about the slowness, but the lady who checked us in said “we cannot do anything”. 2. After getting our seafront apartment (we paid € 750 in addition for it) we realized there is a technical noice in there, which was coming from the ceiling. I called the reception around 9:30 pm and they said “we understand you cannot sleep because of the noice, but our technician is alone, they will check it maybe tomorrow due to being busy, we cannot do anything else. So we had a sleepless night. 3. Next afternoon the technician came, confirmed the noice is from the motor of the above apartment’s air conditioning system which is in the ceiling of ou apartment, and …. Went without a y solution. I and my tour agent chanced the reception multiple times to either remove the noise or reallocate us, but they did nothing and after consulting with the reception manager said they maybe can give as another apartment the next day, maybe in two days, mor maybe in 3 days, as they do not have free apartments for us for now. So I told them we are leaving to another hotel or back to home, but will not stay in this conditions, to which they said OK, fine for us. 1 h later while my tour agent was looking for other hotel to take us there, I thought to give another try with another receptionist. This time surprisingly they already had some free apartments, but said cannot give it to us the same day as someone may book it, so suggested to wait till next day 😂. My response was but I am you client and an here already now… Long story short, eventually they showed me several free seafront apartments, from which I chose one and moved in around only around 8 pm. 4. Rooms are supposed to be maid each day which is not happening. Oftentimes they made our room around 4 or 5 pm which is too late. They do not add water or toilet paper in the room unless you ask for it. 5. Due to watering the grass and rain, the front part of our apartment was in complete mad, plus hotel staff draw their electric vehicles in the mad, which made impossible to walk our normal way to the room. So we had to use the small wall not to get into the mad. Overall, very bad experience and below the level - to be avoided at any cost.

We have had 11 days here the end of august a family of 4 with teenage boys. We had a great holiday the boys loved playing football in the Astro we spent our days at the bottom pool as our room was at the bottom of the resort: the hill to the top is hard work in the heat. 5 minute walk to the beach not the prettiest but was fine for what we wanted. Food was good always something we liked and they do a theme each evening. The staff all Worked very hard and all friendly the entertainment looked very good for little children mine have now outgrown Shows etc so we sat outside in the evening but could Still Here the singing in the background that was nice. Could Recommend maybe some music in the day around the pool just for that holiday mood only Got music when water aerobics was on. We ate at the Italian and the tapas which was both delicious. Got a bus into Mahón and had dinner at the harbour which is worth a visit bus comes every hour reception will Give you a timetable. Rooms are a bit outdated but very clean and towels changed daily our cleaners were brilliant. Reception staff very helpful and tui staff always there and also very helpful. Would Recommend this hotel. We all got lots of bites even with repellent and saw lots of other people also covered in them. There is a chemist very near if needed. There is also 2 bars in punta prima that play football if you are a football fan. Overall a great hotel
