We booked an AC Deluxe Sea View Room for 3 nights, and the experience was horrific. The room was poorly maintained- door locks were broken, the rooms and furniture were dirty, the toilet was not cleaned, and the exhaust fan in the washroom was not functioning. We had to repeatedly ask and solve every single issue in the room because there was no better alternative room available. To make matters worse, the beds were infested with bed bugs. Despite paying a hefty price for a room with basic amenities, such a substandard experience is unacceptable. I suffered multiple bites, and when we initially complained, the hotel staff denied the issue. It wasn’t until we showed them the bugs in the bed that they acknowledged the problem. Even then, the manager, Mr. Laha, dismissed it as "just a normal bug." Thankfully, another hotel staff member admitted it was indeed a bed bug infestation. Throughout this ordeal, Mr. Laha was extremely disrespectful. He continued to lie and refused to offer any compensation or apology for the inconvenience and poor service. This level of negligence and unprofessionalism is unacceptable, and we left deeply dissatisfied with the overall experience.
