We are here at the moment. Staff are the best we have ever encountered. It seems unfair to single out one person as they are all so good, but I want to commend Atef the Operations Manager who does a superb job putting up with awkward guests like me. I hope hotel appreciate him. Rooms are very good. Cleanliness excellent. Quality of food in a la carte restaurants is very good , can't comment on la Luna as this not included . Room 281

A really nice resort, good standards throughout, but what raises the resort to great heights is the staff. All are friendly and welcoming. In the lobby bar is Hany who takes great pleasure making drinks that you will enjoy. Excellent barman and a pleasure to meet. Around the pool and in the excellent Asian restaurant is Ahmed who genuinely wants you to enjoy your holiday and delights in providing excellent service and anticipates your needs. In Le Cafe is Waled who welcomes you and gives excellent service assisted by a really efficient and helpful team. Spa treatments by Amira were fantastic and reasonably staff.

Hotel has much improved since our last stay in 2021, although this is probably our 5th stay dating back from the Ritz Carlton days. Apologies in advance of any mis-spelling of names. Pre-arrival Communication We booked a basic package in the UK via OTB and upgraded to the Royal Package on arrival. Communication with the Front Office Manager, Mahmoud, was excellent and he was also helpful during our stay. Clearly outlined what was included in the package and ensured that our request for a room in a particular block was met. Arrival Collection at the airport was smooth and driver polite and professional. Check-in was easy, made easier by the fact we knew the layout of the hotel. Luggage transferred (along with us to the room). We had arrived slightly late so escorted to the buffet to grab some food beforehand. Staff were on-hand throughout our stay to transfer to rooms on golf carts if needed. A much appreciated service! Room (Number 454) The room was in the same block that we stayed before and I think one of the best blocks in relation to quiet location and views Room was kept exceptionally clean by Ayad, who was always cheerful, and the room was light and bright. Good to see that the showers had been upgraded which was excellent. One slight issue with the landing outside of the room was that light working was intermittent. We had an issue with the safe jamming and were unable to access it, but the engineers were quick to fix the issue. Royal Lounge The service in the Lounge was excellent – provided by Hermina, Samer and Muhamed – all a credit to the hotel. The food in the lounge was exceptional and Hermina never failed to impress with consistency of food and amazing taste. Nothing was too much trouble for Samer and Muhamed (who also served in the Waves). Please give the Royal Lounge staff more assistance to deal with the birds that invade the lounge! The Lounge is advertised as being open in the evenings – it is not. This is understandable when it is not full, but it would be good to have access to the more premium drinks in all bars/restaurants. More sugar free drinks need to be available including low calorie/slim line tonic (in all bars and restaurants) – diet coke and the occasional sprite zero are not enough options for people who are unable medically or by choice to have sugar based drinks. We were under the impression that the Lounge was adult only but did notice that children were in here on breakfast on one occasion – if it is adult only then it needs to be so! Royal Beach A nice secluded area, but could do with access to a closer cold shower for when the weather is very hot. A sign at the entrance to the beach would also help the staff having to chase after guests who did not have access to the Royal Beach. We were surprised to see that nearly 100% of the sunbeds were moved out of the beach on 31st December and taken to the main beach – many “Royal” guests were turning up looking for beds but n
