Wonderful place with an amazing view on the lake.. We were very at ease and had a warm and incomparable welcome. We had our wedfing there.. Big thanks to Mr Roshan and his wife for their help and kindness..they are Amazing people.. I 100% recommend

It's was the best place we stayed in Mauritius! It's like an oasis created with a lot of love of the owners. Very quiet, with a lot of nature all around. The owners have the consciousness of taking care of the nature, they planted a lot of trees, they feed the animals and they are really loving. The rooms very comfortable, the terrace it's a bless to lay down and just observe the nature. The food they make it's a MUST! It's prepared with love and delicious. It was a pleasure to stay at Horisun. We feel very happy and wish to come back.

c'est un très bel endroit et confortable, le propriétaire et le staff est très gentil, excellent service,J'ai vraiment aimé mon séjour à HORISUN. Les chambres étaient très confortables. Le personnel était tout simplement exceptionnel. Ils ont si bien pris soin de nous et nous ont comblés de leur attention et de leurs bons gestes. La nourriture était juste wow ! Dans l'ensemble, ce fut une expérience formidable. Je le recommande fortement!nous reviendrons bientôt

-Tolle Unterkunft -Perfekte Gastgeber -Unbedingt mit Abendessen geniessen, michelin verdächtige küche Roshan, seine Frau und sein Sohn haben für jeden ein extra ohr und helfen bei allen problemchen. Ideal gelegen isle aux cerf, 10 min 1h entfernt vom flughafen

Sang et roshan très accueillants et arrangeants. Très attentionnés. Petit déjeuner et repas délicieux. Très belle vue du lac le matin au réveil en prenant le petit déjeuner. Chambres confortables, propres, très spacieuses avec tout le nécessaire. Très grande salle de bain. Faire simplement attention pour accéder a l’hôtel et tourner au panneau « la mare ». Nous avons passé un excellent séjour ! Ils arrangent pour trouver une location de voiture ou des taxis. Ambiance familiale, intimiste.

What a delightful hotel! Off the beaten track, quiet and peaceful. Our comfortable, stylish, very spacious room (which the air conditioning managed to bring to a comfortable temperature without any problem) had an enormous window with fantastic view over the lake and a large, sheltered verandah looking over both the lake and the sumptuous gardens. There is a lovely swimming pool too. The hosts were very attentive. They prepared fresh breakfasts and offered us evening meals (delicious!) and went over and above what we could expect - not just directions for how to reach the village on foot but actually dropping us off there. It can be hard for taxi drivers to find; I suggest programming into Google maps and guiding them yourself.

We were really curious about this place, which is much bigger than expected and consists in 2 places separated by about 50 metres. A "garden" side, with very large and comfortable rooms, a nice common area , and a "lake" side, with the swimming pool; the restaurant and views of the lake of course. The hosts are super friendly and accomodating, thanks again to them. The food was simply amazing... we had the best Thai Fish Curry ever. The breakfast was fantastic as well. Thanks again !

Sang, her husband and their team run this beautiful hotel placed at a lake. The stunning view and the calming garden (we had a lake-view room / see picture) garantee a great stay at a place you gladly come back to after a day exploring the east of Mauritius. Within a few minutes by car you can reach a public beach, small shops and restaurants. If you are looking for a catamaran-tour to Île aux Cerfs, there is a great starting point in Trou d‘Eau Douce, just a few kilometres away. The Hotel offers a great and healthy breakfast with plenty of local fruits, freshly made omeletts and pancakes,fresh juice but also bread with local marmelade. Sang and her team also offer a tasty dinner - we enjoyed some original homecooked thai-food. We hope to visit you again some day! 🏝
