Les Lofts de la Barricade - PAR les Lofts Vieux-Québec

The location cannot be better. The room was sparkling clean and everything was quite new. The only comment I have for other distracted travelers is that it doesn’t have parking included and you will be in a place where it’s impossible to leave the car on the road.

The location was perfect in Old Quebec. It is very close walking distance to the cruise port and to many featured locations one would want to visit. Accommodations of the loft were great. Spacious size loft, full kitchen and heaters in every room. Would recommend.

Fantastic Condo. Super clean and spacious. We were on the top floor and loved the old warehouse style setting. Short walking distance to many of the main attractions in Old Quebec City. We stayed here the night before boarding a cruise and we were only 2 blocks from the cruise port terminal. Quebec City is a beautiful city and we will definitely be back for a longer stay.

This apartment was superbly positioned to see the delights of Old Quebec but just far enough away to avoid all the crowds. Modern facilities with comfortable beds, great shower and plenty of living space. One minor complaint was the lack of basic supplies such as tea/coffee starter pack, oil for cooking. All the utensils were there but you needed to do a grocery shop before using them which is not ideal when you arrive after a long day’s travel.

The apartment was very attractive and functional. Loved it all. Great furnishings, comfortable padded chairs for the table and living room. Ah, the platform beds may not have been the best choice for shin hitting, but bumping the mattress over a corner works for singles in each room, and sleeping on them was easy! There was a hall closet and a wall holder for hanging a few garments in each bedroom. Bring your own laundry soap. Was able to park bags in room early, but asked not to use it until the move in time for it to be checked. Yes, the cleaner missed long black hairs on the shower and bathroom floors and in the towel drawer, I also washed the mugs before using as I wasn't convinced they went through the dishwasher, Otherwise the apartment was spotless and felt clean. The option for my sister and I to each have our own room was great! The Lofts De La Barricade is located perfectly, a 1/2 block from all the marvelous Disneyland sites of old Quebec. Gas station with convenience food within two blocks. Easy to get to everything in walking distance with a bit of stamina for the hills and steps. Yes, the apartment has an elevator. Yes, it was across the street from construction, but that goes on everywhere, and you are on your way out for site seeing. We had a corner unit with great big windows and lots of light. The sheers let in the light but blocked the resurfacing of the building across the street.

My unit was on the first floor and my window faced a construction site with a lot of construction material and the noise started at 7 in the morning. Otherwise the room was clean and acceptable but no closet! Location is good. I didn't receive the password in my email and finally had to call.

Unit BA304 - 3 bedroom apartment. 2 bedrooms had doors, the 3rd had a curtain. All 3 had bathrooms. Very new and clean. Large spaces. Elevator worked fine. Check-in was fine. just remember to bring your coffee for the coffee maker, and don't plan on getting into the unit until the scheduled time. We would consider staying here again.

The unit was clean. I would call it utilitarian. No papertowels, no dishtowel, no handsoap, not even one packet of coffee for the coffee maker, not a closet, not a shelf or a cabinet to place clothing. There were 4 hooks and one hangar in the bedroom. The bath was large and roomy and clean.
