We were pleasantly surprised at this hotel. The front desk staff was friendly and had fresh baked cookies for us. Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and it was quiet. Breakfast was great with a wide variety of hot and cold food. We would definitely stay there again.

We spent two nights here because we visited Barkerville for a day. I decided to stay here based on the TA reviews. Got a good rate on Priceline for $57 per night. The hotel is basic looking when pulling in, but we enjoyed everything about our stay. The staff was friendly at check-in. The queen room was clean and comfortable. The wifi was plenty fast enough. Really nice refrigerator in the room. My only small complaint was no HD channels on the TV. The breakfast was good for being complimentary. There were many choices including eggs (scrambled and hard boiled), sausage, waffles, breads, fruit, yogurt, juice, and cereal. The location is close to downtown and the road going to Barkerville. The hotel has a nice courtyard on one side and a small town park on the other. If you like craft beer then check out the Barkerville Brewing Company in Quesnel. Good stuff!

The lobby was very bright and clean, the ladies at the front that checked me in were so helpful and friendly, gave me some great choices on where I could go for dinner. Even signed me up as a Choice member so I could get points and discounts. Best hotel breakfast I have ever had there was so much to choose from. If you are in Quesnel I highly recommend this hotel.

Very comfy bed, clean room, very nice hot and cold breakfast, friendly staff. We had a minor issue with the shower hardware which the night staff remedied quickly. Good location right off the highway yet not noisy for sleeping. Would stay here again anytime we're in the area.

We were originally booked into a second floor room, but they didn't have an elevator. I asked for the first floor instead, and the nice person at the front desk accommodated that. Our king bed room was clean and spacious. There was an odd odor but turning off the AC unit and opening the window fixed that. It was great that the window could be easily locked at several opening widths. Liked the big counter in the bathroom. The breakfast was good, with sausage, bacon, and scrambled eggs. We stayed two nights so that we could visit Barkerville.

The Quality Inn in Quesnel has one major disadvantage if you don't like dragging heavy things up stairs - no elevator. On the positive side, the breakfast sausages are very good - much better than the typical sausages at this type of motel.

We loved everything about this place - wonderful front desk people at checkin; clean and wholesome; quiet; close to downtown, (though our Maps app took us on a wild goosechase by car for dinner). A perfect end to a week on the Bowron Lake circuit!
