Very impressive hotel with some very large rooms. Ours had a fantastic balcony looking over the street and featured some beautiful original architectural details. The choice of furniture felt a little 2000's and slightly out of place so that felt a little disappointing. The hotel features a spa with a mini pool which is very nice and can be booked privately with a bottle of wine, a nice extra. Breakfast was standard buffet style and very average given the upscale feel of the hotel. Location wise it is on a very quiet street but is in walking distance of most things, not that there is too much going on in Ragusa, it is very pretty though. Overall it was pretty expensive but worth it for the night.

We have stayed in B&B's in Europe and the US for decades and Ibla Rooms provided the best experience we have ever enjoyed! Extraordinarily beautiful inside, a very gracious host, a large and well-appointed room, phenomenal breakfast, and a wonderful view of the cityscape and valley from a second floor terrace. No detail was overlooked. For an extra special visit, ask for the one room with a personal balcony!

Absolutely top notch. My husband and I first came to Ragusa 12 years ago. Much has changed but thankfully much has stayed the same in the town. We were happy to discover Itria Palace when we were planning our itinerary. We stayed in a family room that consisted of two rooms, three beds and two showers. The room was accessible by stairs or lift. It was quiet, clean, super comfortable bed and pillows with very cold air conditioning. Breakfast in the morning was delightful featuring plenty of the usual Italian standards but also included local offerings which were delicious. A member of staff was on hand to prepare caffe and cappuccino for guests. We will absolutely return!

The hotel is actually on the slope, and the place you navigated to is down the slope. The car can park on the side of the road for free, and the hotel is monitored. Ring the bell uphill to open the door to enter, pass a small flower courtyard and a long corridor, and check in on the second floor. Our room is on the fifth floor. The two bedrooms are separated. There is a separate bathroom. There is a large terrace outside. It is great to sit outside on a sunny day the next day. There is a door on the fifth floor to go directly to the upper city of Ragusa. You can swipe your room card, which is very convenient. In the morning, the breakfast was quite rich. The front desk of the dinner hotel introduced a restaurant not far from the city. In the 16th-century house, the dishes, environment and service are very good. In winter, there are few people, so we will book a meal during our meal.

We stayed here as part of a group. Our room was lovely, but rather cool and dark, with a tiled floor, so if staying in the cooler months take pyjamas and slippers. There was (plug-in) heating in the room. The shower room fittings looked ancient but worked very well, with a plentiful supply of toiletries and towels replaced regularly. Breakfast was excellent, with a variety of freshly prepared fresh fruit, meats, cheeses, some hot food, croissants, warm rolls and bread for toasting. AND a huge array of sweet things. The coffee could have been better, but lots of different teas available with a teapot. We only had 2 dinners here, neither of which were that special, but the restaurant was always full in the evenings. Staff were helpful, friendly and spoke good English.

We recently spent 10 days at Modica Palace Hotel. Everyone from the front desk, housekeeping, maintenance and restaurant staff were wonderful. All were friendly and helpful. The pool area is very nice and peaceful. We booked a superior room which was quiet and comfortable. We'd definitely consider staying here again should we find ourselves in Modica. Notes: The shuttle is no longer available. You definitely need a car or you'll be booking taxis. Breakfast was very good. The restaurant didn't appear to be open for dinner or was only open for groups so we never tried to eat there. Some of the pool furniture was in need of repair or replacement. It is the end of the season.. All in all it was a very good experience.

To visit the valley di Noto cities this is an interesting place to stay if you donโt want to be in a busy city center. Modica is just 10 min away. Reception is very helpful and the rooms are ok, just make sure you can cope with a totally white room. It was a bit warm and for the evening we wanted to use the airconditioner but it was not yet working. The breakfast was pleasant if you like lots of cake . My big disappointment was that this is sold as room with noise cancellation. However you could follow the next door conversation ( potentially through the ventilation system?) and other things couples do. And they were not yelling at all.

We stayed in 10 hotels/b&bโs during our time in Sicily and many were lovely but La Casa Del Gelsomino stood out from the crowd. The room & bathroom were nice sizes and very comfortable. We had a little balcony with 2 chairs and a table overlooking the garden & pool and city view. Breakfast was delicious with many homemade and local made treats. Giovanna goes out of her way to be helpful. The garden is lovely & relaxing. The pool an absolute delight. ย We didnโt have time to use the hot tub. Easy walking from the B&B to anywhere. Highly recommend.ย (Our GPS did not properly direct us to the property so Iโll include here that you need to drive on what looks like a pedestrian street through the main town square under a tunnel and follow the street around a curve one block up. It is really easy but didnโt seem so the first time we did it. )

GGuest UserThe hotel is located in the center between the older part of the city (Ragusa Ibla) and the newer higher part of the city (Ragusa Superiore) not quite at the bottom of the stepsโฆ a perfect location.
The hotel is small and very stylishly decorated. We loved it. The staff (Vincenzo) is super nice and very helpful and attentive. He prepared an excellent breakfast of local meats and cheeses and breads and spreads. Delicious.
Our room had a wonderful view and a little terrace. The public spaces and terraces on top have amazing views as well.
Itโs a great place. We wanted to stay!

GGuest UserUsed this place as a base for touring the hill towns of South East Sicily. We found it well located to get to Scicli, Modica and of course Ragusa. All within 20 minutes drive. We arrived late on a Sunday and helpful lady on reception gave us great recommendation. Lovely big room, spacious parking area and big plot to roam. Inviting swimming pool with lots of loungers - bit too cold to use in May though. Poppies and wildflowers abound the grounds. Environmentally conscious theme. Local products well in evidence at breakfast. Good choice of food and great fresh blood orange juice! Overall incredible value. Would come back!

DdralshuraThis hotel is a former palace so the room is decorated in baroque style. The breakfast room is beautiful with a very good breakfast and service. Thatโs all for the positives Firstly , itโs not located at the older , historic part of town. Itโs about 30 min walk down the hill and multiple stairs and then 30 min walk back up the stairs and up the hill. I booked the suite since we were traveling with 2 kids and got a large room with 2 uncomfortable foldable beds for the kids. When asked for a beach towel, was told that the charge was 5 euros per person ( charge , not a deposit!!). I would advise to stay elsewhere in beautiful Ragusa.

Check in e check out in orari comodi, con istruzioni chiare e la gentilezza di venirci incontro. Stanza ordinata, pulita e con tutto il necessario, anche angolo cottura. Letti comodissimi. Ris andamento e clima, insomma tutti i comfort. Colazione per accontentare tutti i gusti e la signora in sala molto gentile. Insomma davvero perfetto soprattutto x chi viaggia in macchina perchรฉ c'รจ un comodo parcheggio
