The hotel is nice, it is run by the owner, it should be considered a B&B. It has complete facilities and is very close to Plitvice Lakes National Park, but you have to drive, it is still 10 kilometers away. The hotel is in a village near the national park. Because it is off-season, no meals are provided, so I walked to a nearby restaurant recommended by the hotel owner, it was quite good.

Mate was an excellent host. The room was clean and spacious. The pool was sparkling and the grounds well kept. After a day of dealing with crowds at the national park, it was relaxing to come to a quiet villa and have the pool to ourselves. Highly recommend.

Villa Stone is an ideal base to visit the Plitvice Lakes Nature Park (8 km away). Nice spacious room, friendly and helpful host, free parking in front of the door. Swimming pool to relax by. Breakfast is possible if at least 4 people are staying; the breakfast was fine!

The beds and mattresses are very good. The individual service is also nice: coffee is available free of charge at any time, there is a fruit plate available and the boss takes very good care of the guests' needs. There is a beautiful swimming pool in the garden! Also positive: Free parking directly in front of the house. It is only a 5-minute drive to the Plitvice Lakes. We have a huge room with a large bed, a sofa with coffee table, high table with a refrigerator underneath, a beautiful luxurious bathroom and a private balcony. There is a swimming pool with enough parasols to lie in the shade. The host will help you with everything, absolutely everything! My husband got sick and he even went to get medicine for him (I was not allowed to drive the rental car for insurance reasons). It looks super neat and luxurious. We were close to the Plitvice Lakes and we really had a great stay!
