Hippes Restaurant mit Zimmern, sehr schön eingerichtet im Indistrial Style. Gut schallgedichtet, nichts von den anderen Gästen war hörbar, obwohl noch lange unten gefeiert wurde. Sehr schöne Stimmung, unkompliziert und freundlich.

Our daughter had her wedding reception on the roof terrace. Lovely atmosphere for a wedding reception but you need to provide your own decorations. Food and drinks very good. Room was clean and comfortable. Couldn’t hear any noise from bar area even though it was really busy. Staff very friendly and helpful. Lift wasn’t working so staff took us through to service lift so we didn’t have to walk up stairs with our luggage

Our daughter had her wedding reception on the upstairs outside terrace for about 120 guests. The food and drinks were very good. The staff are helpful and friendly. When we arrived the main lift was out of action so staff took us through the kitchen area so we could use service lift. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Hotel is very convenient for the station and town centre

Very welcoming accommodations. Feels like you’re in the wrong place to start (a pub), but once you get in the room it has a nice aesthetic more like an air bnb than a hotel room (in a good way). Food and drink at the bar were great. More casual than your everyday hotel, which I appreciated.

We went for our works Christmas Dinner. Awful! under cooked potatoes, practically raw bacon on the pigs in blankets, no sprouts as they had a shortage (but we could see a massive bag behind the counter) which was replaced with a few strings of cabbage, the roast turkey was a cheap stuffed turkey breast with again practically raw bacon wrapped round it. Soup starter was ok but had celery stringy bits in it and no bread. Puddings were nothing special and very very small portions! No Christmas crackers on the table so didn't feel festive at all

Have been trying to contact the hotel via phone and Facebook all week and no one has come back to me. Terrible customer service. We booked a non-refundable rate and I wanted to speak to someone to find out if there was anything we could do to change it. The reason we could not attend was due to my step-dad being taken in to hospital as he's seriously unwell. To have not had any communication from the hotel is so frustrating and upsetting. It looks lovely and we would have loved to come another time or even sell our room on.

A really lovely welcome from friendly helpful staff, even the security team who welcomed us at the end of our day out were chatty! The room was clean, comfortable and stylish. The shower and towels were heavenly. Highly recommended for a city break in Reading!

I had the greatest stay at this hotel, the staff were so friendly, especially the lady that checked me in, the room was gorgeous, amazing shower, comfortable bed and amazing decor, the coffee in the morning really hit the spot, will absolutely stay again.
