Holiday Inn Redding
3.9/595 Reviews
The hotel is good, but the price changes a lot. This year, Ctrip has a number of agents called slow, like to engage in low-cost tricks, do not indicate or not directly indicate service fees, vacation fees, etc., eventually low prices become high, should be kept away from avoiding.
Sheraton Redding Hotel at the Sundial Bridge
4.5/5109 Reviews
Chose this location due to the best ratings on trip advisor. It's adjacent to a park with the Sundial Bridge, which was fun to walk to after dinner. The hotel itself seemed well cared for and comfortable. I felt the room was quite clean, though we notice a 'missed' french fry under one of the beds. Overall was a good experience since we were just travelling through Redding. Will also comment that the person at the front desk seemed to be training someone; she seemed to scoot that trainee away and help us herself, but she did not have very good customer service skills for what I would expect in this level of hotel. Did not volunteer any information, did not ask us how we were, seemed only to want to do the minimum and be done with us.
Oxford Suites Redding
4.4/5104 Reviews
We stayed at Oxford Suites during a recent road trip from OR to So Cal. This was a perfect one-night stay to breakup the trip. We received a newly renovated pet-friendly room on the first floor, which made it convenient to take our dog outside. Staff was friendly and the grab and go breakfast was a great option given that the hotel is in the middle of a renovation. We realized 6 hours down the road that we left our pillows in the room... I called Oxford Suites, and they were nice enough to hold them until we drove back through Redding 2 weeks later, which we appreciated!
Hilton Garden Inn Redding
4.1/591 Reviews
Check in and check out was fast and efficient. Jordan, Katelin and Jacqueline were three outstanding employees at the front desk that answered all our questions. They were very personal and courteous. Had breakfast in the restaurant and the food and service was spot on. Great variety of items to choose from. Server, Cathy, was very efficient and friendly. Our room was clean and quiet. All in all, it was a great experience. The next time we are in Redding, California. Looking forward to staying there again.
Red Lion Hotel Redding
3.7/5102 Reviews
Our experience here was just unbelievably disgusting. Issues with: Hygiene: There was so much grubbiness it is difficult to know where to start. Doors covered with finger grime. Drains clogged with hair and other unknown substances. Brown splatters all over drapes and bathroom walls. Large dog paw prints on sheets (!! Not kidding). Safety: The state-required room smoke detector was completely missing, the shower curtain bar was held in place with stews and zip ties which were pulling the wall tile out of the wall. There were multiple electrical outlets which were shattered and the wiring was exposed. Wellness: Our so-called nonsmoking room reeked of cigarette smoke & nicotine. Unfortunately had to sleep in the room for a few hours and woke up with sore throats. So, you may ask why we didn’t take one look at the room and run in the other direction? My hard working young adult daughter pre-paid $130 for the room, and we were just too exhausted to fight a battle over this in the moment. Crashed out for a few hours and then quickly fled. I would advise avoiding this hotel at all costs. FYI, I will be sending a copy of this review to Red Lion corporate as well as the Redding city fire Marshall’s office
