Best Hotels near Redington Shores Beach Access, Redington Shores

I reserved my room through a third party site, so I was a little skeptical. The bulk of the trip I was going to be solo so I wanted to make sure I would be farely safe. I called the office about 4 or 5 times to ask random questions before the deadline to cancel with 100% refund. The office staff was always really nice and friendly. They never made me feel like my questions were silly or trivial. I was also arriving after their office hours and they were quick to reassure me all would be fine. The Resort grounds were extremely clean with lots of tropical plants, butterflies and baby lizards. The buildings were u-shaped with plenty of parking and lots of lighting at night. The pool was just the right size for kiddos and adults with lots of lounge chairs around the borders. There were also a few covered areas to enjoy lunch by the pool. Again the area was very clean. The bay area behind the property was very serene, had boat docks and included an area for those who might want to fish. Even though there were tons of families the property was quiet both day and night. As for my room, I LOVED IT! It was updated and very clean (how many times have I commented on the cleanliness of this entire property, LOL). The room I rented had a queen bed in the main bedroom and a murphy bed in another space off the living room. That room was so bright and sunny in the mornings. The space was decorated with beach and water themed items, that made me smile. I went grocery shopping and utilized the kitchen for cooking breakfast. The kitchen was stocked with a variety of pots, pan, and other cooking dishes. They had glass plates, bowls, silverware, cutlery, glasses and cups. You only need to bring your food and any foil you might need. The appliances were full size and in good condition. There was a coin operated washer/dryer on site, but I didn't use that. The beach was located directly across the street from the office. My room had beach chairs and umbrellas with carrying straps, a cooler and some mini wave boards. The floors were laminent and there was a broom and mop in the closet as well. They had small sample sizes of things like lotion, soap, shampoo, dish detergent. I would definitely recommend this property and look forward to staying again.

We recently stayed for 2 nights at this hotel since although it was overpriced, its nightly rates were better than its competition's. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful, and our room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was standard fare for a Holiday Inn Express, and we appreciated the one type of fresh fruit each morning (oranges the first morning, bananas the second.) And the bed was comfortable. The worst part of the stay, and the one reason why I won't stay here again: the A/C in our room was SO loud . . . There was an A/C unit on the wall that appeared to do nothing, which led us to try the A/C unit directly under the window. It worked fine at cooling the room, but - even with ear plugs - was much too loud for us to fall asleep with. The only solution that worked was turning off the A/C completely, leading to a too-warm room halfway through the night. (Not okay with Florida's high temperatures.) So frustrating!! The location is okay; not near the things and people in Tampa Bay that we visited, and traffic in Pinellas as of late is awful. If this will be the case for you too, add some time to your calculations of when to leave to get somewhere.

My husband and I booked a vacation at the Bilmar in treasure island and we loved it! Heather and Viola at the front desk were a pleasure! Heather went above and beyond to make our stay memorable and enjoyable. The room was very clean and bed was very comfortable. Everything was in walking distance of the hotel, and the beach and pool was amazing. Mike and Louis, the bartenders at Sloppy Joe’s and Waves were awesome. From the staff to the resort and location everything was wonderful and we can’t wait to return! And do not miss the most beautiful sunsets you will ever see! Gregory & Janel

Great stay, even better than expected! We checked in here after a nightmare cruise and came to see the atl vs. tpa baseball game. The location was perfect for the game and the hotel exceeded all expectations. EMILY was amazing and let us drop off our bags early and even called us directly to let us know out room was ready a little early for check in, just like we requested! We couldn't have asked for a better experience all because of her. She checked in us with ease and was extremely friendly and nice to speak with. The rooms were extremely clean - even offered multiple packs of wipes! The beds were very very comfortable, sheets felt great and clean. The bathroom was stocked and large! A highlight was a ledge in the shower allowing us to store our items on it, which NEVER happens at a hotel (Things always end up having to be placed on the floor because there is usually one little corner shelf). We had four grown adults in the rooms and it never felt crowded once! The internet was easy to access and very fast, the elevators felt safe and were clean, the lounge and lobby were very spacious as well. Can't say enough good things about this hotel as a Marriott Gold Elite member. Would absolutely stay here again (hopefully with Emily again at the check in desk!).

We stayed for a month at this hotel for business in Pinellas County. The rooms are on the small side with a very limited closet space. The bed was crazy comfortable and my request for extra pillow and towels was accommodated quickly. The staff is what shines in this hotel, Brian and Nessie at the desk we’re consistently wonderful and accommodating. The bar/restaurant group is on task and friendly. The pool is very nice, with a nice spa/hot tub that is a nice retreat. Only down side is we tried to reach Jennifer in sales to arrange for a group rate, she was unresponsive to our team lead and more focused on a second property and larger groups. First, I’m not one to complain about these kinds of things typically, but the lack of care or concern by the staff drove me to write this review. I wish I would have had access to a review like mine before I decided to book this place, so I’m hoping my review helps others going forward. First, as can be implied by what I wrote above - This place could be great, if perhaps the staff learned to be a bit more compassionate. First, upon arrival, my family was hungry. After bringing our luggage up to the room, we quickly went right back down before unpacking, only to spend 20 minutes trying to figure out how to get seated. We asked 5, yes FIVE, different staff members to help us understand how we could get seated. None of the staff members answered our question. They each punted us over to someone else. We finally figured it out on our own (or rather, thanks to some other guests who saw us struggling and told us they had experienced the same issue earlier, so they were very kind and helped us). Unfortunately, we then waited 2 more hours to get our food delivered to the table. When it arrived, the wrong food was brought to us. It was such a disappointment, and I left with an incredible headache because I was starving. Next, the room. If you want a peaceful beach stay, this place is NOT for you. All I wanted was a peaceful break at the beach from my hectic life. Unfortunately, this place caters to weddings instead of its hotel guests. My room sounded like it was inside a dance club - and it was on the top floor! I called down to find out how long we could expect this noise to last and was laughed at, implying that at least I was on the top floor and not on a lower floor where it would be louder. This is NOT a place to come if you want a relaxing and enjoyable time. Stay away. I have extreme regret staying here! Hotel management - Guests should be warned about dance parties upon arrival and at the very least, be comped if they can’t get out of their reservation to go elsewhere. This is not fair to those of us here to spend our hard earned money and vacation days. Finally, since I always like to provide a review on the bed, here’s the info: Bed is not up to par for a Hilton. Very firm, but does have the standard Hilton sheets. So - Buyer be ware! Wish I had taken heed of the previous reviews and gone to Don Cesar instead. Note: Gave this a 2/5 instead of 1/5 simply because it really does have a great view.
