For anyone coming to visit St Gallen, we can highly recommend TouchBed City Apartments. The location is super centric, and our studio even had a beautiful view of the old town and the Abbey. The self-checking was easy and convenient, the building is modern and the studio was great! We loved having our own kitchen as eating out in Switzerland can be really expensive. The kitchen was super clean and very well equipped for cooking. The bed was comfy and the shower was also great. We can recommend this place for any type of traveler on both leisure and business trips.

I booked a stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Lustenau, Austria, with the understanding that it was a pet-friendly property. As a responsible pet owner, I made sure to travel with my well-behaved small to medium sized dog. Upon checking in, however, I was taken aback by an unexpected and exorbitant charge of 25€ tagged for my pet. Not only did I perceive this as excessive, but this fee was not transparently communicated during the booking process. The hotel's advertising and website did not mention this additional cost. Furthermore, considering that we found no extra amenities provided for pets to justify such a substantial fee, the charge seemed especially unwarranted and unjust. While the rest of the hotel facilities and services were satisfactory, this unforeseen expense greatly affected our overall experience. The lack of transparency about this charge lessened our trust in the services provided by Holiday Inn Express, Lustenau, strongly influencing our consideration for future stays. We understand and appreciate that hotels may charge for additional services or requirements attendant to hosting pets. But transparency during the booking process about such charges is fundamental to maintaining consumer trust. We were disappointed by this oversight and would recommend that future guests with pets inquire about all possible expenses in advance to avoid any unpleasant surprises at check-in the reception was friendly and of course it was not her fault .

New hotel with a great shower and comfy beds! Loved the motion activated night lights under the nightstands. Very good cocktails at the bar too. Air contitioning too! Which is pretty important once the heat increases outside. The lobby has a comfortable and modern seating area to sit and enjoy a drink or read one of the many magazines available. Close to several restaurants too.

The hotel is relatively near the Olma Messe (about 10 minutes on foot). This also means it is not near the centre of St Gallen. When I arrived, the staff was pretty unfriendly, telling me they were waiting on me to close, even though I arrived more then 1 hour before closing time of the reception... Nevertheless, the room was comfortable and clean. There is a train line juste next to the hotel. With a room on the 4th floor and a closed window, I was not bothered by it during my sleep. The breakfast in the morning was good. All in all, this is a nice place to stay if you want to access the Messe easily.

We chose this hotel as we were going to the Bregenzer Festspiel and it was perfect. It is just a five minute walk to the train station and the train gets you to Bregenz in a few minutes more. It’s a brand new, stylish hotel, just a year old. We had a really nice, modern room with plenty of places to plug in our various devices. Although it overlooked a roundabout (and we could see to Austria in the distance), it was quiet and we slept well. The free bottle of water in the room is a nice touch. The nearest carpark costs 20 francs but you can park at the train station for 7 francs or free on the street until 9am. We were made to feel very welcome by both gentlemen on reception. A particular thank you to Herr Niederer who, as well as being friendly and professional, was generous with our welcome drinks. We will certainly be back!

Parking is convenient, 20 minutes drive to St. Gallen. The scenery is good and you can see Lake Constance from afar. The breakfast is very rich, there are many types of food, the rooms are average, most of the hotels in Europe are like this.

The positives first! Nice welcome when we arrived. The room was large and even had a walk in closet. I haven't seen that very often in a hotel! Otherwise, a somewhat boring breakfast, and a strange sound coming from the sink made it a little difficult to sleep. We arrived late and left early, otherwise we would have complained and asked for a different room, but we told the reception when we checked out. Clean and nice hotel, but not quite our style.

We stayed in the hotel for 4 nights in June 2023 to vacation on Lake Constance. Lake Constance can be reached from the hotel in 15 minutes by car. Dornbirn city center is within walking distance. Dornbirn train station is right next door, but that's not a problem. We liked the hotel overall, but it also has some weak points. You can tell that the hotel is very new, everything is very modern and we liked the style. The room was clean, but one day our room cleaning was completely forgotten. We could only change the towels at reception in the evening. But the room was no longer cleaned. We have never experienced this in any other 4-star hotel and it shouldn't happen. Care products such as conditioner and especially tea and coffee were never refilled by the cleaning staff. Unfortunately, we couldn't drink coffee or tea on the last few days and the kettle was therefore useless if you don't have any products for it anymore. Unfortunately, there is no blackout curtain on the window. The curtain was white and did not darken the room. So it was bright as day in the room at 5 a.m. Not so nice if you actually want to sleep in on vacation, and of course that's difficult in a brightly lit room where the sun is shining. Otherwise you would have had a really wonderful night's sleep, as the beds were very comfortable and it was always very quiet. Unfortunately, there is no table in the room. If you want to write something on your tablet or laptop, the only option is the bed. This also means there are no shelves. There is enough cupboard space for clothes, but for everything else you have on a table (tablet, laptop, cell phone, keyboard, etc.) the only option is the floor. The WiFi is extremely fast and worked perfectly. We really liked the wellness area, it was always very quiet and clean. Unfortunately, there are no towels available in the wellness area, so you only have your bathrobe and a single towel for the sauna for the entire stay. It is therefore impossible to shower in the sauna area with a fresh towel, also because there is no shower gel or shampoo in the sauna showers. This should be a given in a 4-star hotel and we know it from other hotels. The hotel promotes sustainability, but unfortunately there are only disposable plastic cups in the rooms and in the wellness area. This is not appropriate for a 4-star hotel and is particularly not sustainable and should be urgently reconsidered. The staff were very friendly throughout, especially the staff at reception and in the restaurant. We mostly ate dinner in the hotel. The menu is very varied and the food was always very good.
