My wife and I chose this hotel purely because of it's location. The hotel could not be any closer to the train station, it is literally right at the station. We don't speak German, so we were very happy to be met at check-in by a young woman who spoke excellent English. She was very helpful and check-in was very easy. This place is very new and very cool. It was Friday night when we arrived and both restaurants in the hotel were booked out. We left our bags in our very modern and clean room and made the short walk into town for dinner. After dinner we walked back to the hotel and had a couple of drinks in the bar, which was buzzing. We then went to our room and could hear neither the music from the bar nor the adjacent trains. The sound proofing is very impressive. Next morning breakfast was tremendous ! We would happily stay here again.

Very good hotel for dinner: we were walking and have stayed here and eaten. The room was ordened, though with a demodified splash tape. For this the latest IPhone chargers and Nespresso! The food was excellent, the crème cut as a finish heavenly! Good local wines at fair prices. Very nice hostine, Mrs Lanker, who also served us carefully at breakfast! Adequate atmosphere at food! Just recommend!

New hotel with a great shower and comfy beds! Loved the motion activated night lights under the nightstands. Very good cocktails at the bar too. Air contitioning too! Which is pretty important once the heat increases outside. The lobby has a comfortable and modern seating area to sit and enjoy a drink or read one of the many magazines available. Close to several restaurants too.

We chose this hotel as we were going to the Bregenzer Festspiel and it was perfect. It is just a five minute walk to the train station and the train gets you to Bregenz in a few minutes more. It’s a brand new, stylish hotel, just a year old. We had a really nice, modern room with plenty of places to plug in our various devices. Although it overlooked a roundabout (and we could see to Austria in the distance), it was quiet and we slept well. The free bottle of water in the room is a nice touch. The nearest carpark costs 20 francs but you can park at the train station for 7 francs or free on the street until 9am. We were made to feel very welcome by both gentlemen on reception. A particular thank you to Herr Niederer who, as well as being friendly and professional, was generous with our welcome drinks. We will certainly be back!

The hotel is relatively near the Olma Messe (about 10 minutes on foot). This also means it is not near the centre of St Gallen. When I arrived, the staff was pretty unfriendly, telling me they were waiting on me to close, even though I arrived more then 1 hour before closing time of the reception... Nevertheless, the room was comfortable and clean. There is a train line juste next to the hotel. With a room on the 4th floor and a closed window, I was not bothered by it during my sleep. The breakfast in the morning was good. All in all, this is a nice place to stay if you want to access the Messe easily.

The positives first! Nice welcome when we arrived. The room was large and even had a walk in closet. I haven't seen that very often in a hotel! Otherwise, a somewhat boring breakfast, and a strange sound coming from the sink made it a little difficult to sleep. We arrived late and left early, otherwise we would have complained and asked for a different room, but we told the reception when we checked out. Clean and nice hotel, but not quite our style.

GGuest UserThe overall feeling is very good, the young lady at the front desk is more polite and polite, the waiters in the restaurant next to it are also of high quality, and the customers are still very polite. I catch the plane that morning and let the waiter arrange the packaging. They are very cooperative. If you want to go to Heerbrugg for business trips or business people, you can choose there first. The hotel does not have slippers and will provide them if you need to ask.

GGuest UserWhen we checked in we had a problem with the invoices because we travelled with friends. The staff seemed reluctant to rectify a mistake when they wouldn't change one invoice to two. The small rooms were quite dark, including the sheets and the towels. We found that the main clientele of the hotel are crafts men and wondered if white towels were considered a luxury? The furniture and the amenities were the bare necessities but it was clean. A sliding door with a frosted glass pane separated the bathroom which was a strange set up, and the sink was tiny but everything was functional. The rooms didn't have AC but fans were provided and were needed because it was hot. My back hurt from the uncomfortable mattress, my husband however, didn't have a problem. The bar was closed because it was Monday and the sitting area couldn't be accessed. Breakfast in the morning was alright, nothing special but sufficient to get us going. Because this hotel is close to the motorway we would recommend it for a 1 night stay.
