1. The smell of sewage everywhere - in the rooms, bar, canteens. 2. Mold in the bathroom. 3. Poor maintenance of rooms, floors are not cleaned, bed linen is not changed. 4. The water stinks, and it is (probably) used for cooking, washing dishes, so the dishes smell, the dishes themselves are washed very poorly, they are not drained, so they are always wet. 5. There is no place to hang wet clothes (except on the balcony wall/glass or chairs) and they are not cleaned so they are dirty. 6. The food does not change often, the choice of "eatable" food is not large. 7. Bar cocktails are very diluted and taste bad. 8. The refrigerator in the room is empty, free water is not distributed, so we had to buy our own water at the hotel store, which was not cheap. 9. The mattress in the room was all yellow, with a brown spot, moldy. 10. The cleaner does not pay attention to the fact that the "do not disturb" sign is placed and opens the door anyway. 11. Lots of ants, mosquitoes flying in the rooms, there are even cockroaches in other rooms. 12. Although the hotel is "all inclusive", you have to pay in more than one place. On the evening of the games, they asked for 10 euros for a bingo card. "Renting" towels also costs 10 euros. There is a scale in the luggage room, but one weighing also cost 1 euro.

Stayed for a holiday with friends at this hotel, and it was an amazing experience for the price. Here’s a quick breakdown: ⭐️Pros: - 🍽️ Great buffet variety, changing daily. - 🍕 Tasty gyros and pizza from 10 AM to 5 PM. - 🎉 Fantastic animators, especially Spaghetti and Thomas – no need for a nightclub! - Truly the heart of this hotel! ❤️ - 🎯 Fun activities like darts and water polo. - 🛏️ Premium rooms with air conditioning. - 🌊 Close to the beach through the back gate. - 🛍️ Handy hotel shop, open until 11 PM. - 🍹 Good quality alcohol, better than most all-inclusive hotels. - 🍸 Amazing bartenders – shoutout to Alkis, George, and David! - 🏊‍♂️ Multiple pools (main, slides, lazy river, kids’ pool). - 🛝 Great playground for kids. - 🚍 Easy access to transport (bus stop nearby). - 🌳 Huge, beautiful complex with olive gardens. ❌Cons: - 🏀 Could use more diverse attractions, like basketball or more diversified daily competitions.

A holiday to remember! Had a great time here with my parents, the hotel is well kept and clean - a while away from the airport but means no plane sounds ever! Firstly the receptionists kindly upgraded me for free so that I could have a room near my parents! They gave us family rooms which had faulty safes but that was quickly sorted. Cleaned every day and no noises at all - slept great! The location works well, not on a main road and 10 minutes easy walk to a beach that only seems to be used by two hotels. One day we weren't charged for loungers, the next time we were (7.50 euro per lounger) so seems as though it's not consistent! Go to lindos by bus (2 euros!) as it's stunning, loads of shops and places to visit and visit the acropolis which is 12 euro and well maintained. Took about 20 minutes by bus, though check with the booking office on the way back as they change bus numbers every hour! Onto the food and staff - these made the holiday really special! Vasilis the greeter at the restaurant honestly made our stay, always made us laugh and looked after us. I have a peanut allergy and there's a distinct lack of signs on the food for allergens but Vasilis put me at ease by saying there is no peanuts used in their food prep so I had no worries! So many other lovely greeters and staff in the restaurant and I didn't get their names but they really look after you! Food was varied enough, some staple things like Fred chicken and pork but great salads, desserts and variety out each meal. Wine is a bit dire but there's coffee and soft drinks that are fine. Can't mention drinks without giving great props to the bar staff, we drank cocktails like they were water! Get the olive garden cocktail, easily my favourite one there. Can't forget to mention the amazing barman Alkis who kept us laughing, remembered our usuals and is a credit to the staff! The pools don't get too crowded, we wandered through at 10 and found loungers by the main pool, and there was always spots open in the water park. The slides are fun and the lazy river is a perfect way to soak up the day. Pool towels need a 10 euro deposit though and you have to get from and return to the water park which is open from 10-5 so keep that in mind! All three entertainers were lovely and personable; Tomos, Libby and Spaghetti - they do well to keep the energy up each night since the entertainment I'd assume it's not funded well from the hotel. I'd love them to get some more support so they can bring in external acts even or more and bigger quizzes which was the highlight of the activities for me! I could go on for ages but all to say my family and I had a great time here and I hear it's getting a big expansion in the next year or so, I'd definitely recommend people to stay!

We had such a brilliant family holiday at The Olive Garden! All the staff were absolutely fabulous, but we would like to give well deserved recognition to Georgino who worked the pool bar during the day! He was always very attentive, full of cheer & smiles, gave outstanding service & was a true delight with the children! He was always busy, either making stunning cocktails, collecting glasses or serving wonderful icecream. He truly made our holiday! Aliks the evening bar worker was also a delight. Always greeting every customer with a smile. The reps Spaghetti & Tomos were also amazing with the children & provided so much entertainment and laughter! Thank you so much to the whole team, we will miss you all, until next time! :)

I came here with my 18 year old son and his friend. We had 2 separate rooms, nowhere near each other, but ok not too drastic. My room had a dodgy lock, took many attempts to unlock the door, found you had to pull the door handle towards you, let go, then scan the keypad, the door then flew open!!! The air con was useless, I had the setting as low as it would go and it was barely cool. My son’s shower in his room leaked all over the bathroom floor, and his air con was even worse than mine. And I had to fix the flush button on my toilet more than once, as it kept on getting jammed. For the time of year the hotel was still very busy, and by 9am you could not get a sun bed for love nor money, and selfishly people put towels down and were not there till mid afternoon. There is a terrible sewage smell that seems to get worse at night, it’s foul. The situation of the hotel is extremely remote, in the middle of nowhere as my son said. There are set prices for the taxis, but the drivers charge you more, buses are fairly cheap, but can be lengthy, 2 hours to Rhodes old town, and buses get quite packed, and you can be told you cannot board and must wait for the next bus, which could be another 20 minutes, which is not pleasant in high temperatures. But all this doesn’t compare to the food and drink, we are not fussy eaters by any means, but the food sadly was either undercooked or overcooked, every day lunch and dinner was grilled chicken and pork or bolognese. The other food was not great either, the rolls and bread were good, but the butter tasted like nothing I’d tasted before. There was a lot of salad, and I mean a lot. Food wasn’t very hot, and desserts were the same everyday. And the drinks were awful, sherbert tasting, sweet, cheap and sickly, the alcohol was so watered down and weak and not nice tasting at all. Plus you were charged for bottled water, which is strange. But I must say that majority of the staff are brilliant, friendly and helpful, and a huge shout out to spaghetti and Tomas who were fantastic. Also to my cleaner flora, who was so friendly, and kept my room lovely. Reception staff were great, the only odd one was a guy when we arrived on our first day early hours, was a bit robotic and didn’t seem to be able to explain if my son and his friend had a twin room or not. Just kept saying when you see the room you’ll know what I mean. Their room had a single sofa bed, with no bedding, plus a double bed. All in all we had a nice time, but I wouldn’t return there, which is a shame as staff are worth more than that. Rhodes is a beautiful place, but if you enjoy your food this place is not the place.
