I have to agree with the latest review. The room we stayed in had similar issues - green 'emergency' light was on all night - not great. Whilst the bed frame was fine, the mattress was very thin and not very firm - if you got too near the edge you were in danger of falling out. On the plus side, the bedding was lovely! The bathroom was good - for an electric shower the pressure was great and shower gel was provided - nice fluffy towels too. The room was spacious and clean but rather dated and tired. The sash window was very worn and the glazing old, as it didn't really muffle much of the traffic noise - for a village location it is quite a busy road. Due to a family emergency they had to close the pub at 6 pm, so we were very much on our own - we were the only ones staying that night. This wasn't a problem as we had a key to get in the side door, but if I had been staying on my own, it would have worried me. No breakfast, but we knew that before we went, and there was plenty of tea, coffee etc available. For one night it was OK but I think in view of the issues above £105 was a bit steep. If they upgrade the mattresses, sort out the windows it could be lovely. We noticed that the property is being advertised 'to let' so maybe if new people came in and showed it a bit of TLC it could be turned around..
