The hotel has good service environment, facilities and transportation. It is very quiet. The front desk staff also helped me solve an urgent problem. I am willing to stay in this hotel again. Recommended!

I brought my family to London and we stayed at the Selwyn. It's a lovely hotel in a nice neighborhood with lots of restaurants, cafes and stores in easy walking distance. The train station is a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Hotel staff were charming and very helpful. The rooms are small but well maintained and impeccably clean. The breakfast was better than many high end restaurants. I'm definitely going back!

The staff were lovely but the room itself was super uncomfortable. The bed took up majority of the room with a tiny space to move around in. The temperature in the room was not great and the aircon was either too cold or too warm. I didn’t sleep well the days I stayed here.

The Selwyn Hotel was lovely and definitely worth visiting. The building is beautiful and the staff were very responsive. The breakfast was amazing and is definitely worth the extra charge. A big surprise was that the hotel was within walking distance to the Thames and an area with many wonderful shops and restaurants. What a treat! I would give it a solid five stars, except that the room advertised a view of Kew, which does not mean Kew Gardens! Maybe you know this if you are from London, but as a non-native, I had no idea. My view was of a corner brick wall, which was disappointing. Be very specific when reserving about what your view looks like. In addition, the building can be noisy with outside traffic and from other guests. Overall, it was a lovely stay.
