We weren’t expecting much…and we were correct! We arrived at 10pm and it was all locked up but thankfully had a door code sent in one of the many, many confusing emails. We had a small double room which was two twins pushed together and one was higher than the other with a mattress topper on so I kept rolling to the middle! No soap provided at sink - just shower gel in the shower. Good location if you want the stadium but that’s about it. Didn’t encounter any staff which felt a bit weird and I didn’t feel particularly safe. Wouldn’t stay again.

Came to stay for the weekend as we come to Cardiff every year for the Speedway GP - meaning the location was perfect for us. My fiancé dealt with the booking and was advised we could park on the opposite side of the road. We paid to park for the Saturday and on the way to the Speedway saw that our car had a parking ticket - the ticket officers advised us to move the car or it would be towed. This caused a lot of worry and distress as we were then late to the Speedway after having to find an alternative space, pay for more parking and quickly walk back - not ideal. It would have been nice to have been told - hotel would know as it happens every year. When coming back that night we saw lots of other cars that also had tickets. We are not familiar with the area or the parking restrictions. Other than that, our room was comfortable and clean and good as a base for the weekend. Would have been nice to have had some hand soap as a basic necessity. Rooms are small but we didn't mind this. Would have rated higher if it wasn't for the parking situation but just frustrated with it all.

Very clean room, small bathroom, linen and towels were spotless. Everything was functional and functioning. Only one very small criticism, one sachet of milk between two of us and 1 mug and 1 tiny tea cup? Will stay again if I am off to see a band or in the City for any reason.

We travelled to Cardiff to watch pink at the principality stadium. The location was perfect. Easy to find. 5 min walk from the stadium and train station. The price was amazing considering all other hotels increase their prices by stupid amounts. Clean, affordable and a good wee find.

Easy check in using a code sent via email so no keys necessary, on the first night we couldn't use the TV as there was no remote in the room for it and there was loud noises coming from the boilers nearby which made it difficult to sleep. Spoke with the staff the next morning who were very nice and upgraded our room for us. Our second night was much nicer - fully working tv, comfier beds and peaceful. Overall, the hotel is clean and in a great location.

Perfectly cost-effective option for an overnight stay/layover. You get exactly what you pay for however, the room's could really do with a fabric conditioner so there's no linger smoke smell which was off-putting and the reason why it's not getting full marks. Great central location opposite the stadium

Loverly room nice and clean a couple of patches of mold in bathroom but tbh the room is so small and hot with no airflow it is not surprising. Checking in was a bit of fiasco staff really did not like being disturbed but was sorted after they read my checking in email and looking at their records

Very close to the river taff and Millennium Stadium. Mattress was very hollow
