Holiday Inn Express & Suites Roanoke – Civic Center Reviews

They had limited information about Businesses that delivered food in the area, so we grabbed a couple of the flyers they had. One was Emilio's pizza, which was their only flyer for pizza. We ended up ordering it and they charged an $8 delivery fee, and $25 for a large pizza, and other taxes, ended up being $40 for a pizza that turned out the size of a normal medium pizza and tasted like frozen pizza you buy at the supermarket. It was nasty and we didn't even eat it. Also, we asked to check in an hour and a half early, I am in a wheelchair and I was tired, they wanted to charge us $80, so we declined, being the room was already $128.00.

The room smelled of smoke. The bed was very uncomfortable and I woke up with a bad back!

Decent place. Breakfast could be improved with real eggs (rather than the usual powdered eggs)

New and clean hotel 5 mins from downtown. Breakfast was good.

Facilities are complete, parking is convenient, breakfast needs to be improved.

The price of the hotel is reasonable, the breakfast is very rich, the environment is simple and clean, suitable for travel and living!

Good stay. It was so convenient to have breakfast in the morning, and Enterprise was close enough to walk to pick up a car.

My car was broken into right under the video camera. It's been three days and can't even get a call back from the manager! Staff was excellent and emailed and even called her because she is the only one with access to it! No response yet! Very unsafe area and management is no help!!!!

The front desk staff were very helpful in recommending nearby restaurants that would accommodate ou daughter's food allergies. They were friendly, efficient, and professional.

Hot water did not work we could not take shower. Tub was not draining well ,plumber was sent to fix it with delay in 2 days . Manager at hotel refused to meet stating she is busy.Customer service at desk some Spanish looking female with nose piercing(refused to give her name) was very rude and unprofessional.

Customer service is terrible. Manager did not even bother to come to speak when asked. Hot water isn shower not working. Tub got clogged and many more

I would stay here again. Easy to get to, close to attractions. Polite check in employees. The suite was well set up so that one person could go to bed and not be disturbed by the other person and the tv.

The hotel was fine. I was under the impression it was a newer hotel but it did not look that way as our bathroom had a little dirt and mold buildup in the corner by the shower. The rest of the hotel was great and I thought the free breakfast was very adequate. I would stay here again.
