Best Hotels near George Eastman Museum, Rochester

Very speechless, usually less than 100 knives in the hotel, encountered the price of the American Golf final 160. I have lived in Quality inn before and I feel okay. I didn't expect the sheets and quilts in my room to have yellow stains. Then I will take a bath for one night without undressing and the next day. Unfortunately, the bathtub did not leave hot water for 10 minutes. Good wash basin wash face out. Then spit, go out and wait for Uber. The driver clicked the navigation and turned around 2 times and didn't find the hotel. Finally, the customer came to pick it up. He said that the navigation led to the back of the hotel. Fortunately, he found me with wisdom. Finally, it is worth mentioning that the front desk service is good, I saved my luggage, and I care that my Uber did not receive the cloud.

My daughter and I stayed overnight for a visit to the University the next day. Austin was helpful, and gave us an amazing upgrade so we would each have a bed. I have never before commented on a hotel bed but it was SO comfortable that I almost overslept (which I never do!). The location was perfect, a short drive/walk to the University of Rochester campus; but still quiet and in a safe and peaceful area. The breakfast was standard continental breakfast but the view of the river from the breakfast area was exceptional. All the staff was so nice. The room was clean and quiet. I definitely recommend Staybridge highly!

J'ai passé deux nuits à cet hôtel en août, pour des vacances. J'avais choisi cet emplacement à cause de son excellente localisation près de l'autoroute 390 et près de la route 15, qui permet de se rendre facilement au centre-ville de Rochester, et mon choix s'est avéré très utile. Par contre, l'intérieur de l'hôtel s'est avéré très décevant: tapis des corridors crasseux, mauvaise insonorisation (surtout pour le bruit provenant du corridor), saleté des planchers dans la chambre (mes pieds fraichement lavés sont devenus noirs après 5 minutes de marche dans la chambre), comptoir de salle de bain sale, interrupteurs de salle de bain sales, etc. Qui plus est, le personnel ne fait pas respecter le règlement de fumer à plus de 50 pieds de l'hôtel, et il y a en tout temps des fumeurs de cigarettes et de cannabis agglutinés près de la porte d'entrée, des sorties latérales et des fenêtres -- et qui empestent l'air ambiant. Les pancartes demandant de ne pas fumer ne font définitivement pas la job. Ça aiderait peut-être si le management enlevait les bancs en métal placés près des entrées, où les fumeurs s'installent.... D'ailleurs, même l'homme faisant le remplissage des aliments dans la salle à manger sentait la vieille cigarette à 7h00 du matin.... Et, insulte suprême (...) : cet hôtel n'offre pas de thé, ni dans les chambres, ni à la salle à manger. Donc, apportez le vôtre. Autre élément choquant: j'avais une confirmation écrite du tarif pour mon séjour réservé il y a un mois sur le web, mais en arrivant, surprise: je découvre qu'il y a des nouveaux frais ajoutés pour le stationnement, le coffre-fort et les clés de la chambre (...) . J'ai refusé de payer ses frais cachés non annoncés, mais j'ai dû faire cette négociation avec la «front desk manager» car le personnel courant disait ne pouvoir rien faire. Finalement, parlons de la clientèle: je la qualifierais de «non-éduquée». Majoritairement masculine, qui gueule dans les corridors à toute heure du jour et de la nuit, qui sent la transpiration et les cigarettes fumées depuis des jours aux premières heures du jour dans la salle à manger ; les quelques femmes vues se sont, pour leur part, présentées en pyjama pour le déjeuner. La grande classe! Ça vaudrait probablement la peine de remettre un document sur le code de conduite à adopter dans un hôtel, car c'est clair que les voyageurs de cet hôtel ne le savent pas. Bref, c'est un hôtel que j'éviterai à l'avenir, même si je suis membre du programme de loyauté qui inclut cet hôtel.

After being unhappy at another chain location, I switched from my usual brand and joined Radisson Rewards for this booking, with a great rate. Arrived here from ROCHESTER International Airport by LYFT ride, not knowing how long I would be staying, or what to expect, and I was pleasantly surprised. Located in a nice area, on busy Route 31, Monroe Ave , East of the city, but still close to all major attractions, like GeorgeEastman House, Memorial Art Gallery, Highland Park, Rochester Museum and Science Center, by car, also on city bus routes. My comfy accessible room is roomy and restful, with a King bed and roll-in shower, many safety bars in bathroom. There is a window unit for climate control , Microwave and fridge in my room, and a 40 inch flat screen TV that has a sharp picture with premium channels. Room and lobby WIFI works well., except with my Apple phone. Cozy family reading area with adult and children's books and a single computer/printer business center in lobby. I was happy to find a small coin operated laundromat and a tiny gym, with two machines. Amenities include a very good hot and cold breakfast served in lobby, with 24/7 refreshment and coffee/tea bar. Spunkmeyer cookies at desk, a small convenience store for essentials, including frozen entrees. Smoke free premises, however there is an outside seating area, with wooden Adirondack chairs and a fire pit for smokers. Four Electric car charging stations make this a great location for modern savvy travelers who care about the environment. Coffee-Tea stations in room and lobby were well stocked. The diverse cheerful and helpful staff keep all common areas very clean; all of them are very helpful and accommodating . I enjoyed conversing with International guest clientele in several languages, including Japanese tourists. With rewards member rates, its a great deal and price point. Ethnic restaurants and shopping nearby, including Pittsford Plaza and Eastview Mall . I recommend this hotel to all traveler friends in this area, and beyond, including my 50,000. travel chat buddies on Facebook, Yelp, and TripAdvisor, without hesitation. Good hotel in a low price

we normally stay here when in the area for work as it is an excellent location and near the interstates. the airport is about 6 miles away so not truly an airport hotel but close enough that is is not to far a stretch. the rooms are updated and clean. the hotel is quiet and the staff are excellent from the front desk to the lounge to the housekeepers. i highly recommend this Marriott if in the area.

Family size, single room plus sofa bed. Location convience to do city shopping.

Hi. We have been to this hotel pre-pandemic and have given it great reviews. So we were very surprised to find what we did. When we arrived, we waited awhile to be greeted at the desk. Finally the employee working on paperwork at a nearby counter finally came over. Then there is the room. It was pretty awful. Grimy, damaged, stained, and just unpleasant. We had to wipe down the desk handles from the stickiness. We could not believe it. When asked if there were better rooms, the response was they are all the same. They did offer to move us, but what was the point. I never expect luxurious breakfasts at these places, but this one was unappetizing. They were out of items, items that should have been refrigerated, like cream cheese, were not, the pancake machine was out of operation and even the cover to the oatmeal was not connected and broken. I should note, the women working there were very pleasant.
