I want to acknowledge two amazing employees that work at this location. Although everyone we encounter here has been wonderful, there are two that really stand out. Danielle and Andrew. I receive weekly treatment at Mayo Clinic and use this location often. They know when I check in with my wife, that I need extra pillows, because of my health condition, and always have them ready or already in the room. Danielle was so kind to get my wife her favorite ice cream, when the hotel was out of it and we thought it was discontinued. It was such a kind gesture and she definitely went above and beyond! Please let these two know that although we are faced with a difficult journey, they make it just a little bit easier. Thank you! S. Patti

It always smells so clean! I absolutely love the coffee. The cleanliness is great, and i never have to bring my own pillows, ya'all have me covered! Want to shout out to ASHLEY M at the front desk! Thanks for always being very cheerful, greeting everyone with a smile and making sure everything is going well. Would also like to give be a shout out to CHERYL she has been amazing she greats you with a smile and makes sure you have everything you need for breakfast. Which the breakfast here is amazing! ZACH the maintenance is always making sure that everything is good. If you have any problems with anything We were here for 3 months and we will back!

Staff were very friendly and helpful! Genoveva made a special effort to retrieve my cell phone charger that I had left when we checked out a couple of days earlier. Staff were very pleasant and helped us with wayfinding. The room was clean, comfortable and pleasant. Ashley M., Cheryl, Dan and Genoveva were great! Thanks for a nice stay.

The hotel is getting ready to start a renovation, so the rooms were pretty much as expected. The location was perfect for some time at Mayo. The standout is the service. Ashley (day shift) and Andrew (night shift) managed the front desk. They were so helpful, friendly and kind. They provided bright spots in stressful days. They also accommodated all my requests, even including a room change so I could get some natural light in my room.

We’ve been staying at the Residence Inn Marriot in Rochester for several years. We always stop here because of its proximity to the Mayo. They have nice rooms with a kitchen, secured parking, great breakfast, a tunnel system that leads to Mayo and restaurants and shops and a excellent, experienced staff like AshleyM. that have provided extended check out time and garage parking when our appointments are delayed! All around great hotel!

Was at Mayo Clinic for emergency family member surgery. Brought my Dad with me and the staff at Residence inn (in particular Ashley M.) were so helpful and accommodating. Especially for my elderly father’s needs. They helped with directions and upgraded us to a suite so I could care for my father during our time at Mayo.
