"I absolutely have to rave about the views from this hotel! We stayed in a pastoral view room, and the floor-to-ceiling windows were like a living landscape painting. The karst peaks and rice paddies stretched out directly before our eyes, and the morning mist and evening glow were breathtakingly beautiful 🖼️. The room was super smart; we could control the curtains and lights with the Xiao Du voice assistant. After a day out, it was so relaxing to lie down and enjoy the scenery. The hotel's location is superb, right in the heart of the Mingshi Pastoral Scenic Area, making it easy to go cycling or take a bamboo raft anytime. The staff provided thoughtful service, and there were even welcome fruits. This experience was almost perfect; it's an ideal vacation spot, and I'll definitely be back!"
This Zhuang-style B&B, nestled in Mingshi Countryside, offers panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows with stunning views of karst peaks and rice paddies. Morning mist and evening glow make for fantastic photo opportunities. The Zhuang-style breakfast is fresh and delicious, and the butler service is attentive. The Mingshi River bamboo raft pier is within walking distance. The only downsides are the numerous countryside insects, the difficulty of booking a mountain view room during peak season, and the significantly higher price compared to standard B&Bs.
The room facilities, though a bit dated, were very well-maintained and clean, showing the hotel's dedication. The hotel is located near the Guichun River within the scenic area, offering views of the Vietnamese people across the river, though the barbed wire fence is a bit of a letdown. However, the hotel's garden restaurant is an absolute disaster—the food is unappetizing and truly awful. I'd recommend eating before you check in or returning to the hotel to rest after you've had a meal elsewhere.
The room is large, with a tea table and sofa, and a very artistic atmosphere. The hotel is on the roadside, with convenient parking. If you bring your own breakfast, you need to eat it in Mingshi Villa, which is delicious. The villa is very beautiful, and you can also watch performances and bonfire parties.
